Inwood Station Apartments

I don't usually write reviews like this, but the attitude of one particular member of the leasing staff needs to be addressed. Everytime I call to address a simple question that could have been answered clearly in a few sentences, this staff member patronizes me and overcomplicates things. Somehow it always turns into personal attacks and unnecessarily snide comments. I can't even call it mansplaining, because that would be more subtle. It feels like he is trying to pick a fight. In the call I just got off of, I try to explain why I had an issue submitting my rent payment due to portal logistics. I repeatedly say that I want to resolve this as soon as possible and would be willing to pay at the very moment if we could not work something out. After all of my attempts to be cordial and collaborative, this staff member only responds 'um honestly, what you just said made no sense at all. like not at all.' This is after I came to the call in the spirit to try to figure things out with the apartment. If you want to sign here, be prepared for a mini-verbal altercation and passive aggressive disrespect everytime you want to ask them to work anything out with you. This is not all of the leasing office. Some of them I've had great experiences with. The same is true with the maintenance staff. Anyways, be warned. If emotional roulette is what you want to play every other week, this is the apartment for you.

Don't live here if you enjoy peace and quiet. You can hear everything your neighbors above you and beside you are doing; even flushing a toilet. Fire alarm rooms have noise throughout the night for hours with the office never addressing the problem. The trash rooms are always filthy, the carpets don't get cleaned regularly (they may come once every 4 months), the garage gates are ALWAYS broken which leads to break ins and homeless entering the garage!! This property is terrible for the price so find elsewhere to go. Homeless will make a complete mess around the trash cans daily. Trash trucks do pick ups at 2-4AM so be prepared for that as well. Trash room on the weekends are horrendous, my kids came to visit from school and asked why the property was so nasty.. It's an embarrassment to live here. My lease is up in 3 months and I've never been more happy to move from a property!!!! If someone leaves a 5 star review for this property don't believe it. If I could give 0 stars I would. Avoid this place if you enjoy your peace and safety. You're welcome in advance.

I just left from touring my new home and I LOVE IT!!! I’ve been working with Achante and Saleem and they both have been great! Honestly the whole team has been great to even the managers Jasmine and Kevin. I can’t wait to move in! P.S. They have clean fresh hallways and floors so don’t believe the negative reviews on that part I love every bit of this place including my pool view.

I’ve been living here for a few months now and wanted to update my review because I’ve seen some misleading comments that don’t reflect my experience at all. I truly love living here. Any time I’ve submitted a work order—whether it was an emergency or a routine request—the response has been quick, efficient, and professional. Maintenance ( Patty and Josh) has always been respectful and gets the job done right. The front office staff Jasmine, Kevin, Salem, and Tay are another huge highlight. They’re friendly, responsive, and communicate clearly, which makes a big difference. You actually feel heard and supported as a resident. I’ve also attended several resident events, and they’ve been phenomenal. They’re well organized and really show that the team cares about building a sense of community here. Overall, this has been a great place to call home, and I’m very happy with my decision to live here. I would absolutely recommend this community to anyone considering it.

***DO NOT LIVE HERE**** If you sensitible to noise and value your health, avoid this place at all cost. The complex is located under the airlane path but with poor insulation. Our unit have excessive airplane noise that makes it extremely difficult to rest or work from home. wall and floor are paper thin, you hear everthing above you and outside. Huge hygeine issue: hallway odor persist all the time. Trash room and hallway full of trash bags all weekends. Think twice before signing the lease!
