Really loved the Bardo Lofts, a special place! My wife and I stayed three nights from May 30th through June 1st while visiting our daughter who lives in Bishop Arts. It was quiet, clean, comfortable, very affordable and quite spacious. We were able to bring our mini Aussie who was right at home with us. Christian is a great host. Without a doubt our new go-to when in Bishop Arts!

I stayed for a weekend and would absolutely stay again! The bed was so comfortable, it was in a great location, and everything I could have needed was in the kitchen already. Such a great find!

When I booked I didn’t see all the negative reviews but honestly people are exaggerating on here there’s pros and cons but it’s not as bad as they say some thing are accurate but it’s not bad at all I stayed for two nights everything worked fine the washer, sinks, stove, microwave, coffeemaker,tv some of the light switches didn’t seem to turn anything on , it wasn’t as dirty as people were saying the air conditioning worked fine all tho they only left one tide pod there to use but I mean what do u expect they already left u with your own washing machine if you wanna wash so bad there’s stores very close by you can go buy from and the balcony door didn’t lock but I wasn’t worried the balcony is caged in it wouldn’t be easy climbing up and your in a very safe area ,the parking spots were small but manageable ,thru out my stay they emailed me to see if I needed anything ,over all I would still give this place a 5 star rating it’s cheap and nice your pay for what you get I couldn’t complain I loved my experience

I've stayed here twice. No issues w/ the first one which was only a Thursday night. The second experience was three nights and negative enough I won't be back. Unlike other reviewers, I had no issues w/ cleanliness. I appreciated the real, non-Kuerig coffee so that's a point in the "lofts" favor. My main issues were getting access and the a/c. I echo previous comments about the temperature of the room. It became so hot about 4.30 am that I woke up to check that the mini-split was still working. It was, just not very well. The other issue was "the code will be provided closer to your arrival." The code wasn't provided prior to my arrival. I had to ask, but fortunately the response w/ the correct code came about 15 minutes after I requested it. So while it was annoying that I couldn't relax in the room upon arrival, it wasn't a long delay. The lack of suitable HVAC is definitely a deal breaker for future visits. I really wanted to support this business more. I visit Dallas about once a month and I like the decision that Bardo Lofts has chosen to fit into the neighborhood by height and exterior design. I second the comment about small parking spots but there's no shortage of Hilton's or Marriot's w/ large parking garages. This location is within walking distance of the Bishop Arts district which means smaller parking lots.
