One of the most poorly designed locked gates ever.

We have lived here for 8 years. It is a wonderful boutique condo building. It is situated to give outstanding views of the skyline from the 20' high wall to wall windows across the front of the units. Huge balconies! All units are large, contemporary with 2 stories. High end finishes blend well with the soft loft contemporary mix of concrete ceilings, exposed ducts, and track lighting. The best condo building manager in Dallas who has been with the property since it was built. Well managed with low HOA fees. The benefits of a small building letting you live the high life of Uptown within an easy walk of top restaurants and bars. And the new huge Tom Thumb grocery is only 1 block away.

It is a private residence, so all the owners are very aware of whats going on. Not a place for someone with no budsiness there.

The manager, or whoever is monitoring the parking lot on this site is a BIG JERK. I'm handicapped, and parked in the handicap parking spot, with my permit placard hanging on the mirror, I get out of my car and started to walk across the street, he whistled at me and I turn around and he says you have any business here, and I said no I'm going across the street. He then tells me this is private property you need to move your car NOW. His tone was so rude that it made me very defensive, I told him I'm handicapped and I'm clearly walking with a limp ( I have 3 discs that are bone on bone, and have pinched nerves in my L-4, L5) I have been proven to be permanently disabled. I then tell him I believe I can park anywhere there is a handicapped parking spot, he the yells that I better move my car or he's calling the police and a tow truck, his tone was really offensive at this point. I said no problem call them, I said better yet, I'll call them myself. I called and spoke to the operator and told her this was not an emergency, and I hated to bother the police but this guy is being a jerk and scaring me. I told her what was going on and she said that it was their prerogative to either say yes or no. But since he was scaring me that she would send an officer, but it could take awhile, they were really busy. I then called the person I was meeting and asked them if they could bring me the papers I needed and they said sure, they came down walked across the street and handed me the papers. (all of which took maybe 10 minutes) I then walked to the door and the guy poked his head out and I told him then that I had conducted my business and would be leaving now and that if he had been nice and just asked me to move my car in a proper tone and not whistled and been such a jerk I would have done it, no problem, he then says I didn't whistle at you, I don't even know how to whistle. I said well you did whistle, that was what made me turn around to look your way. He then gets right in my face, eyes bulging and says LEAVE, the tow trucks on its way. I then left. The policeman called me a little later and after I told him what happened he said people can be real jerks and he was sorry that that happened, so I say thank you Dallas police, you know how to be nice and for the lofts at 2011 Cedar Springs, Dallas, Tx, you don't have to bully someone, being nice goes a long way!
