This was a great experience for my kids. They really enjoyed themselves. Thank you Aggies for the great tour.

Overrated and overpriced. You're paying for access to kitchens (which you will likely not use) and elevators. Had a pretty bad vandalism problem. Near Northgate, which might be a plus. If you're on a budget you're better off getting one of the cheaper dorms.

Way too expensive for what they give you. I was paying twice of what one of my friends was paying and I have a smaller room (Both of us have roommates too). Go with an older dorm if you're wanting to save money and have more space. Appelt is a good dorm, slept there a lot of my first semester with my friend cause we would hang out. Hullabaloo is good but way too expensive.

I lived here my freshman year, and am coming back for my sophomore year. This is by far the nicest dorm at Texas A&M. It’s also the most expensive. Early in the semester there are definitely lots of drunk rich kids being kind of rowdy, but they calm down pretty fast, and this becomes a great place to live. The housekeeping is a little overstated on their website- all they really do is mob the front area of your room real quick and then move on to the next dorm. They don’t take out the trash or clean the mirrors or anything like that. The internet is very fast and reliable and there are literally 4 lounges on each floor with huge TVs that are free to use, so over the 5 floors there’s literally about 20 lounges free to use. The game room downstairs is fun and all, but don’t put too much of your decision into which dorm to live in based on it- you’ll probably play ping pong once a semester and never step foot down there again. The RAs here are great, and because this is the best dorm at A&M, I get the feeling they assign the best RAs here too. There are plenty of dorm activities hosted by the RAs if that interest you, but if you don’t want to be involved then they won’t bug you. There are usually 2 hall meetings a semester just going over any issues in the hall. They usually keep these to the point and pretty painless, and they are usually only about 15 minutes. Overall I would definitely recommend living here if you get the chance!

Great dorms building and staff, bad residents. Things constantly get stolen from community spaces that operate on trust and integrity. Obviously not every resident is a thief but enough of them are that it ruins the experience entirely. This is especially infuriating coming from a university where integrity and "and aggie does not lie, cheat, or steal nor tolerate those who do" is plastered on every surface.
