Parkway Apartments

This apartment complex used to be good. But they have become incredibly vicious with towing. Even if they tow your car because of their error. They will say it's out of your hand once it's towed and that they can't do anything to help you. There's also a four step process through two different apps to allow visitors to park without being towed. I have had my own vehicle towed while living here and paying rent. And I know many other residents who have had the same happen to them. Do not live here if you have a vehicle. Most residents have a story of being towed here at least once. And management is downright rude in resolving any issues.

Horrible to assist on any maintenance issues. Their manager Chris is super unhelpful and is very rude. There hasn't been a single time that he has been able to help. My daugter's were without a dryer for over a month. I had to presonally order the part, took a 6 hour trip and install it myselft. No one ever called to say thank you or to reimburse me. Most recently, the water heater has been failing since Thurs 01/08 and no on has gone to go fix it. I was told that maintenance does not work on the weekends and that they'll "TRY" to get to it maybe today, but no guarantees. I'd figured not having hot water would be a priority, but I guess it's not. The only way they are getting by is because I showed my daughters how to reset the water heater. Which they have done at least 12 times. This is unfortunate and very unresposible from Parkway.

Worst apt experience ever. Moved in to missing drawers, bent blinds, missing tread on stairs, no shower curtain rods, ice maker did not work, yellowed bathtubs, missing caulk, disintegrating particle board in drawers, tubs that did not drain, kitchen faucet popped off and water sprayed everywhere. We put in multiple work orders. The only thing that got fixed was the kitchen faucet. All other work orders “closed” by maintenance. When we moved out Parkway had the audacity to charge us for all the above problems that they never fixed! One of the people in our group (lived in a 4/4) was sent to a collection agency despite our emails and phone calls providing proof otherwise! Yes it’s cheap. But there’s a reason. Buyer beware.

I’ve lived at this apartment complex for three years, and I can confidently say it has been one of the most frustrating housing experiences I’ve ever had. The unit was not clean when I moved in, with several things already broken or damaged, and the issues never stopped there. Maintenance is either completely unresponsive or takes weeks to months to handle even basic repairs. My dishwasher has been broken since the day I moved in, and despite countless requests, it has never been fixed. On top of that, communication from the office is terrible. There is no transparency, and half the time you don’t get notified about things that directly affect your apartment. Maintenance entered my unit to “fix” the AC without any email or warning, and in the process they destroyed about $120 worth of my products and nothing was done to take responsibility for it when I went to make a complaint to the office when I walked in to men in my room. Every excuse imaginable is used to justify delays, lack of communication, and unfinished work. This complex is absolutely not worth the money, and I would not recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, functional, or professionally managed place to live. Save yourself the stress and look elsewhere.

I just moved in to parkway this week and it has been absolutely terrible experience staff is not helpful at all. The unit they gave us was completely trashed and not cleaned from the previous residents. It’s clear they did no inspections prior to our move in. We have ants everywhere broken stove burners, a broken dryer, and showers that don’t drain. We have called numerous times and have been told that they don’t sit and inspect each apartment for problems. Everytime we fill out maintenance requests we are give excuses saying that they haven’t had a day off in months or that they have 5 guys between parkway and 2818. But most of these issues especially the cleanliness of the unit should have been dealt with during the summer before our move in. I’m completely disappointed with this they haven’t offered us any sort of solution it’s very frustrating. Don’t not rent here.
