Unit 407 – My overall rating would have been FIVE STARS; below are my pro’s and con’s on why the unit did not meet 5-stars. Unit 407 rating— PRO ratings – FIVE STARS all the way… - Location is great, literally across the street from Sam’s Club for refuel on gas or stocking up on foods, snacks, etc. Nearby the Post Oaks Mall for any shopping and restaurants. - The unit offers 2 queen size beds, 2.5 baths and amazingly clean and spacious throughout the unit. It also offers full-size washer and dryer, my big plus as I prefer to wash with no dirty laundry. The kitchen is very spacious to entertain a family or friends. - The queen size bed was comfortable and offered a pleasant night for sleep. The bed frame offered a head riser for those heavy snorers (like my spouse, lol)! - Location is quiet, no railroad tracks or heavy traffic noise—very peaceful! CON ratings – low stars - The full-size wash and dryer are amazing great, but for someone who is height challenged (4’11) I could not reach the bottom of the washer to remove washed laundry. I had to call for enforcement (spouse) to remove the laundry at the bottom. - The bathrooms are a nice touch. However, getting in the bath tub was a challenge (again my height issue). If only the bath tub had handle bars for height challenged individuals or disabled patrons. - Communication is a key point for any travel preparations and leading up to your arrival or check-in date. The owner/landlord lacked on communication. I made my reservations in April for check-in June 6 (one-nighter). A confirmation was received with a message that clearly stated “check-in information would be sent within 24 hours of your stay.” Unfortunately, the check-in information was never sent. In fact, we arrived at UNIT 407 at 3:30PM and if it wasn’t for the cleaning crew onsite at Unit 407 to contact the owner/landlord—I don’t think we would have connected with anyone, including the owner/landlord. I referred to the Carter Creek condos website to search for a phone number, check-in time 4PM and check-out time 11AM. But since the cleaning crew was there, we asked if they could connect with the owner/landlord about our arrival at Unit 407. The cleaning crew had no idea someone was checking in. They provide my phone number for “Mandy” to connect with me directly. Once Mandy and I connected, she shared, “oh I have you at Unit 406, not Unit 407.” Honestly, I didn’t care which unit we stayed in (even when my confirmation clearly stated UNIT 407), I just wanted us in, wash up (quickly) and rush out since we were already late to meet with family! I was disappointed to understand that no check-in information was provided beforehand. When Mandy finally sent the check-in information via TEXT MESSAGE (at 4:12PM) it showed check-in time at 3PM (not 4PM), same check-out time at 11AM. If we had known about the 3PM check-in we would have been on-time for our family event. Also, the text message or unit had no instructions for throwing out the garbage, only turning off all lights, fans and raising AC unit to 73. We did our best to leave the unit as clean as possible, since we were there for one night. Overall, if the communication had been provided as previously stated within 24 hours upon your stay, my rating would have been four stars. Keeping the low star ratings for the no bathtub handle bars and large size washer for height challenged and or disabled patrons. Keep UNITS 406 and 407 in mind when booking here and I hope your experience for receiving communications is better than mine was since NO PHONE NUMBER was ever provided, nor was my emails ever responded leading up to arriving at Carter Creek Condos and after check-out. I'm calling on neighbors to be more considerate with parking. Going forward, I'll be prioritizing parking spots closer to my residence, and I may start politely addressing instances where cars are parked outside my door. As a resident who pays a premium rent, I believe it's reasonable to expect a more convenient parking arrangement. I kindly request that guests park near the pool area.

Very nice and well kept. And affordable. There are so many places to eat and visit that are close by.
