Town Lake Apartments

This is not a bad place if you're a student but there are better places. Don't be tricked into renewing, they say if you renew it's the same price but then they add a random fee so regardless rent goes up. The maintenance on the appliances in the apartment takes forever for someone to come check it out. Also there was a time a got locked out of the apartment because they didn't notify that the locks would be changed. Would only recommend if you really need a somewhat affordable place.

Been here for more than 2 years and overall I can say I had a good experience. Especially the staff is really helpful with everything. When I had an issue with an unstable roommate Andrew went above and beyond to remedy the situation which has already been resolved. Wasan has helped me out a lot whenever I had a website and payment related issue. Great and helpful staff!

*I have not leased YET, so this is speaking on the experience of going to the information center to ask about the apartments! Currently pursuing an education in the area and found this place through their website online. Coming from a place that is a bit far out from where I am receiving my education, so I was mainly pulled in by the distance to school as I have no complaints with my current residence. I headed down with a potential roommate to ask a few questions about the leasing, apartment features, safety, and other policies. We were greeted by Andrew at the information center. He was incredibly bright, approachable, and willing to answer all of our questions. He also gave us a tour around the apartment amenities and the model room to give us an idea of the space we would have in the apartments. Not sure about how much I can disclose from my findings, but the apartment seems to be organized and has a lot of thought-out systems in place for management, pest control, security, etc. Shoutout to Ivani and Sylvester as well for being hospitable and friendly in the office when we returned from the tour. The vibes at the front desk overall are really great, especially Andrew! I am very hopeful in staying here, so another review may be in the process of developing.

I lived at Town Lake for 3 years while attending ACC, and it was the perfect spot for a student. The location is super close to downtown and convenient for students at UT, St. Ed’s, Huston-Tillotson, and more. It’s affordable, has decent amenities, and offers a comfortable living space, though it’s worth noting it’s not a brand-new complex. During my time here, I had a few minor issues with roommates, but the office staff was always quick and diligent in resolving them. I especially want to give a huge shoutout to Jaelyn and Andrew for always stepping in, taking control of any situation, and making sure my roommates and I felt supported. I’ve made plenty of great memories here, and it truly was a great home base to get me through college. If you’re looking for an affordable, well-located place with a supportive management team, I definitely recommend Town Lake!
