If you value your credit score and your sanity, DO NOT LEASE HERE. I lived here during the 2022-2023 academic year, and my experience with their management has been a complete nightmare. After I moved out, they charged me ridiculous fees, and I spent months communicating with the office to get my balance cleared. Since I couldn't access my resident portal to check my balance, later I had to rely on calling the office—only to be told by student staff that my balance was finally $0, and it's all good. Now, THREE YEARS LATER, I discovered they reported a $56 "unpaid debt" to my credit history. This inaccurate reporting is currently ruining my credit score. When I called to fix this, the staff's excuse was simply, "We have no records of you because the management changed, I have to talk to my manager and get back to you." It's been almost 3 weeks, NO UPDATE YET. I believe he's doing his best and I don’t want to blame these underpaid students at the leasing office. But it is absolutely unacceptable that the 'grown-up' management professionals and corporate executives hide behind these students while failing to maintain basic records. They are effectively using students as a shield for their own professional negligence. Their lack of accountability and disorganized record-keeping is causing me real financial harm. Once again, DO NOT LEASE HERE and DO NOT TRUST GMH. They will haunt you with their own mistakes years after you leave and don't give a shit.
