Timbercreek Apartments

We put in many work orders to send pest control that were ignored or marked as “completed”. When they finally did send someone it was a regular maintenance guy that went in only to confirm that we actually needed pest control. Later they supposedly sent someone but when they came in they decided not to because we had a fake snake decoration that they thought was real. We eventually did get a contractor guy that was able to finally catch some and he also basically said our situation was very serious and that they would need to tear down counters to truly get rid of it as the rats were probably built up from below us were maintenance and other people had been dumping trash, wood, and stuff. We hadn’t seen pest control in a while after that. When we confronted Joshua from the leasing office about what pest control had told us and we made sure to mention how sick we were feeling and how the apartment was unusable from rat damage and instead of approaching it with care and concern he raised his voice and stated that pest control couldn’t be talking to tenants and we needed to send any communications at that time. We had to move out early and evacuate to a different apartment because it was unlivable. (Keep in mind we still payed rent during this time as we did not break the lease) Horrible experience living here and they charged us $1,500 for the rat damage after we had moved (along with us not getting our deposit back) Edit (01/07): contacted who they said to and they marked it as resolved even though they didn’t actually respond to my main point… so I responded and we’ll see if we can get a reason of how it’s “not related to pest activity” I don’t think I’ll ever rent with RPM again. Haven’t had any of these problems with my non-rpm apartment this year… It could just be this complex but I’m assuming the RPM support not responding to my main point is more of an RPM itself problem… Tldr: Rats and staff that don’t listen!!! You have to wait a long time (sometimes several months) for pest control and maintenance. Leasing staff that is really rude once you need help and call them out on not sending pest control/maintenance.
