The Waller

I’ve had an amazing experience at the Waller. The property is always clean, well-maintained, and the staff is friendly and responsive. The amenities are excellent, and the location is convenient to everything I need. I highly recommend The Water to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to call home.

Maintenance entered my room without permission for a non-emergency. Left behind damaged paint, dust and documents. Refused to apologise when I asked them about it. I am filing a police report. Update: the building management confirmed they can enter any property any time without consent and no rules were broken.

I recently toured The Waller and was very impressed with the property, amenities, and overall atmosphere. The building is beautiful, modern, and clearly very well maintained. A special thank you to Tony in the leasing office — he was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly welcoming throughout the tour. He answered every question thoroughly and made the experience enjoyable and informative. Tony is a tremendous representation of The Waller and its level of service.

This has been the worst living experience I have ever had. The water is constantly being shut off from 9 AM to 4 PM, and this has happened multiple times. I have a child who needs access to water throughout the day, and it is completely unacceptable to be expected to live under these conditions. I pay nearly $4,000 a month to live here, yet basic necessities like running water and electricity are unreliable. The apartment has ongoing issues with strong paint fumes due to poorly maintained walls being repainted, and my son even became sick from the smell because of his allergies. On top of that, the breakers constantly fail, causing the electricity in the apartment to go out repeatedly. The list of issues continues to grow, yet management’s response was to “go shower at the gym,” which is beyond unreasonable. The living conditions in this building are unacceptable, and I strongly believe the City of Austin should investigate what is happening here. No resident paying these prices should be forced to deal with these conditions. At this point, I am formally demanding to be released from my lease immediately and without penalties due to the unsafe and unlivable conditions of this property. I should not be financially penalized for wanting to leave an apartment that has failed to provide basic habitability and a safe environment for my family.
