The Mercury

I don't have enough words to express how much I love this community, but I'm going to try. I've been here for over two months now, and continue to fall more and more in love with my life here each and every day. When searching for an apartment in Austin, I toured more than ten properties, but I kept coming back to The Mercury (literally). I visited three separate times to see different units as I kept changing my mind, and the team was always flexible, patient, communicative, and kind throughout the entire process. On move-in day, I received an unexpected call with some difficult family news and broke down in the leasing office. David, the building manager, offered me a sincere hug that I truly needed, and the team went above and beyond by sending cookies to my door. At a moment when I desperately wanted to be back home in PA, the irony of moving into a new apartment and being shown that I already had a true home here at The Mercury was incredibly comforting. It was in that bittersweet moment that I knew I had made the right choice by living here. The entire team is exceptional. From David, to Megan and Mackenzie in leasing, to Juan, Alfonso, and the rest of the maintenance crew, everyone is so friendly, helpful, and genuinely cares about the residents. I find myself going downstairs often just to catch up with them! The events this team puts together are unmatched - themed happy hours, goat yoga, karaoke nights, parties, and so much more. The amenities are beautiful, well-maintained, and are all new. I'm so grateful to call The Mercury home, and I plan to do so for a long time to come. I truly can't recommend this place enough... clearly :)

Juan (who is the head of maintenance) and the entire maintenance team, is absolutely fantastic! They're not only incredibly responsive, they're also incredibly kind and proactive. I also feel like they treat my apartment with care. They will remove their shoes when requested, and they're really gentle in the space. Plus, I always feel safe having them enter my home, which feels really important. Huge thank you to Juan and his team.
