The only thing good about this place is one of the maintenance guys Eddie. But I lived here for more the 2 years and the experience was absolutely horrendous. All the other staff are unhelpful or will lie to your face to tell you what you want to hear and the problem will remain unsolved. Amenities are run down, the resident portal doesn’t work properly and you have to wait months for anything to be fixed. I strongly recommend you find somewhere else to live.

Christian, one of the property manager, truly went above and beyond in every possible way. He generously gave up time on his day off to meet with me, helped coordinate a cleaning company and a plumber, and even stepped in to watch our dog when we couldn’t find a sitter. His kindness, reliability, and willingness to help made an incredible difference for my family. We are deeply grateful for his exceptional support and care.

We toured this apartment community recently, and while the property itself was quite nice and well-maintained, our experience with the leasing staff was mixed. Before visiting, we spoke with a leasing agent named Resee over the phone, who was very kind, helpful, and welcoming. That interaction gave us a positive first impression. However, during the in-person tour, we worked with Alejandra Hernandez, and unfortunately the experience was uncomfortable. She appeared to judge me based on my clothing, repeatedly looking me up and down, and her overall tone felt rude and unprofessional. It made us feel unwelcome and uneasy, which really overshadowed the tour. The apartment itself met our expectations, but the negative interaction with the leasing agent was the main reason we decided not to move forward. First impressions matter a lot when choosing a home, and this experience impacted our decision. I hope management takes this feedback seriously, as the community has potential, but professionalism and respect from staff are equally important.

I really tried to make things work here, but in the end I'm very thankful we had a short lease. There's a lot of issues. For starters, our apartment was not inspected by management before we moved in, nor was it cleaned. Yet somehow they will take your money when you move out for "cleaning" even though we deep cleaned before we left (it was in WAY better condition than how we found it). I'm talking questionable stains, smoke smells that make your eyes water upon entry, the spongiest stairs in the world that feel like they'll implode if they bear weight. They refused responsibility for any of it, even though we made management aware when we moved in. The unit reeked of weed and animal urine no matter how hard I tried to clean or make it smell better. Now to more pressing issues: rats. For the entirety of our lease we found rat poop in every room of the unit, had damage from them chewing through wires, cabinets and personal items, and even found them occasionally running at/around us. They're cute in Ratatouille, but no one wants to hear a daily parade of them practicing parkour in the walls and ceilings to listen to every morning. Management was notified- they took over a MONTH to send someone about it, only for them to "prove there was an infestation" and then never do any treatment despite us reasonably requesting treatment. We moved out without the issue being even remotely addressed. I guess they don't like to pay exterminators... If you move here, be prepared to find inches of water in your apartment on a weekly basis. From the overhead AC unit leaking (that you have no access to whatsoever), to underneath your sinks, or even your roof leaking when it rains (yep- right onto our bed). There were times when under the sink leaks were not addressed for days at a time, even though we had notified management that we would have to replace buckets underneath every THIRTY MINUTES. It was like having an infant feeding schedule except the only thing we were babysitting was our own kitchen sink. Our bathtub faucet leaked constantly since before we even moved in, and it disintegrated the finish on our tub until it clogged the drain and was useless. Wasn't resvoled for two months- oh and when it was resolved, maintenance came to our unit a week before the scheduled date, and left our shower unusable the day before a wedding we were in. We intentionally did not schedule for that day, but I guess scheduling with them doesn't mean much. Oh and management? These people have an allergy to ringing phones. Did I mention dishonesty? We moved out over 3 months ago and still have not received our safety deposit. What's left of it anyways, after they charged us for everything wrong with the unit before we moved in. I am confident our money will not go toward fixing any of this, because if it did then our unit would have never been the mess it was before we moved in. I will say the only surprisingly good thing about this apartment given its condition was that there were no roaches in our unit. At least it WAS surprising until we discovered that rats eat them. Roaches can survive nuclear explosioins, but I guess the rathole we lived in is just too much for them. I wanted to wait until we finally got our security deposit back to post this review, but I'm resigning myself to the fact that it will probably never happen. Don't move here unless you appreciate dishonesty. Don't move here unless you have a lawyer friend who's willing to represent you, or are familiar with Texas code enough to call them on their BS.

I just took my first bubble bath in my new place. I really enjoyed it. There was less than 24 hours before my lease came to an end and the lovely staff here at the Baxter Westwood showed me a beautiful townhome that literally felt like communities/home that would be perfect for my doggies and our lifestyle. I was super excited about all the amenities because they have pretty much two of everything: dog parks w/bath, pools, trash valet, Amazon lockers, a really nice gym and business center .My favorite is the yard space that serves great bonding time for me and the doggies. The unit comes with all the appliances. Not only was everything checked off, on my list of “must haves,” I got approved for the same unit with an hour of me viewing/applying (all Within the same 24 hours I got the keys to our new home and moved in the following day) I’m just super grateful for how quickly April, Bianca, & Alex moved to make sure that I got a new home before my lease came to an end. Our home is so cozy. The community is so safe and well managed; not to mention affordable, quiet and friendly neighbors. I went to college nearby 10 years ago so I’m greatful to be back in the nostalgia with my furry family.
