St. Johns West Apartments

I’m writing this review because the level of support and accountability at this property has been deeply concerning. My sister’s car was hit inside the residents only parking garage, a space that residents pay for with the expectation of security and proper oversight. While management does respond to emails, the responses have been surface level and noticeably uninterested in actually helping. There has been no meaningful guidance, no initiative to investigate, and no sense of urgency despite the incident occurring in a controlled area that is supposed to be monitored. What is particularly frustrating is that the property relies heavily on security cameras as a safeguard, yet those cameras have significant blind spots, which makes them an ineffective measure for actual security. Relying on cameras that do not fully cover the garage does not protect residents, and it certainly does not help when an incident occurs and there is no usable footage. We also experienced a package issue (only once), which further highlighted the lack of attention to detail and follow-through from the team. One mistake is understandable; the broader pattern of passive, uninvested communication is not. At this price point, residents should not have to chase down answers or feel dismissed when legitimate concerns arise. The property itself has potential, but until management demonstrates real accountability, proactive communication, and genuine support for residents, I cannot recommend living here. I am specifically asking for corporate or regional management to review this situation, address the security gaps in the garage (including camera coverage), and provide a formal response outlining what will be done to prevent this from happening again. Residents deserve to feel safe, supported, and taken seriously.

It’s been 2 months since I moved here and I have to say that I am nothing but happy. I like the location very central and easy to get around. Maintenance team really nice, helpful and fast with requests!! Clean areas, good smelling hallways, elevators and I’ve seen the pool, and the pool areas being clean and tided up very very often! Trash is picked up on time every night, neighbors are nice (haven’t had any issues so far 😄). I know everyone’s experience is different so far mine has been good.

This is my first apartment leasing experience, and I can proudly say I DID IT. I had the time to really visit a lot of complexes, and was so excited to find the right place. Everyone at the Saint Johns West office was so helpful from the beginning. They let me tour the buildings and I noticed how colorful and clean it was. The maintenance team was working and smiled at me when I went by. Everyone is so friendly! Jessica helped me get all of my documents together, Lashawnda answered questions about lease terms and community policies, and Lillian came out to say hi to me every time I came into the office. Signing a lease is a serious and sort of intimidating process, but the women at the Saint Johns West office made it so easy. Move-in was a DIY situation, but super easy, considering. I love my view, I'm so excited about my place, and so far all the neighbors I've met have been chill. I have to say, the gym and pool and common areas are such a plus. You don't get anything like this anywhere else. I really love it here!

I went to visit my friend’s mom, Rae. I was really impressed with how well the property is taken care of. Everything was clean, organized, and very welcoming. The maintenance team does an amazing job keeping the community clean and in great shape. While I was there, Calet came by to complete some maintenance work, and he was incredibly professional, friendly, and respectful. He took so much proud in his job. He is such a hard worker. He explained what he was doing, worked efficiently, and left everything neat and tidy. It’s rare to see someone who takes their job and customer service so seriously.This apartment is very lucky to have him on staff. If I were looking for a place to live, the great maintenance team and warm atmosphere would definitely make it a top choice.

Went on a tour of these apartments earlier today! Made an appointment through their online website and that was super easy. Right out of the bat I started noticing the red flags instantly, As I was getting into the elevator to the leasing office, a resident yells and screams at me very irritated, to keep the elevator open as I was going up. The resident then apologizes for that, but that took me as a shock as to how others would treat me! The two women in the office literally said they wanted to leave 2 hours before closing their office and as you see in the last picture as I was leaving, the gate wouldn’t open and the other entrance was closed! I literally missed my other apartment tour because of this (15 mins worth) From this experience, unfortunately I will look elsewhere though the apartments themselves are a bit outdated by this point, but the complex looks amazing from the outside I will say so I will give it three stars just to BE NICE!
