Sentral East Austin at 1630 E. Sixth | Austin Apartments

Parking is sketchy if your in an F150. The garage gate is 7' 2". Room was efficient for our needs but not cleaned very well. Fridge was open so whoever left me 1 single hot shiner, thank you!

Some units are extremely loud due to old windows that are not properly soundproofed. If you check the tops of cabinets or other less visible areas, they are filthy and appear to have never been cleaned. The elevator shakes noticeably when going up and down, and many items in the rooms are poorly maintained. In my unit, the shower handle did not work properly, the windows would not open, and the curtains would not close. This feels like a short-term rental focused on quick turnover rather than proper care. While the location is relatively close to central areas, the neighborhood becomes crowded with homeless individuals at night. +extra charge for parking.

I got room 228 from Capitol One Travel at the Sentral for a concert Saturday night at Mohawks. The room is a basic no frills room. The room is located over a Bar that is a Social Sports bar with Dj to 2am. Why is this room even available to rent. It was unusable til 3am when trash was dumped and bar closed. I felt like I was duped and ripped off by the hotel and its staff. I wanted to raise hell and complain but took the high road. I would never stay anywhere associated with this management company and their properties. Also my TV didn't function and the staff didn't know how much parking on the street was compared to theirs. Could have made another $20 off of me on parking as your was cheaper. Whole experience at their hotel was poor. The room is located above that corner bar, also see the dumpsters below your balcony.

Okay so here we go! FIRST shout out to Emmy & Jean Hunt very sweet ladies. I stayed in unit 205 it was a studio very clean and nice, the music is loud from neighboring bars but I was able to put white noise on using the TV on YouTube music. I LOVE this location there is something for anyone and it is very walkable! Parking in this area is a pain in the ass BUT they give you a parking pass and it’s amazing to have everything included. It was clean and well kept only thing I’d change is to have the TV on a swivel mount

I absolutely love living at this apartment complex! It’s been such a great experience from day one. The community is clean, quiet, and well-maintained—maintenance is always on top of things and super responsive, which I really appreciate. I also want to give a special shout-out to my leasing agent, Alexa. She made the entire move-in process smooth and stress-free, and her service has been nothing short of amazing ever since. She’s always so helpful, kind, and professional. I’m really grateful for her support in helping me find my home here! Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great apartment and an even better leasing team!
