I have been looking around for an apartment for some time and I was very impressed with the cleanliness and upkeep of the complex how knowledgable Jeny was of the units and area during our tour. The amenities were clean and even now the pool area looked ready to go, I can't wait to move here!

Jeny was great! We had a great tour of 3 different 1 & 2 bedroom options and the renovated units are so nice! Lots of storage in these apartments!

My first impression of the retreat complex was very, very pleasing, the landscaping, the location, and the overall look. The assistant manager, Malie, was there to help me. She was friendly, informative, and very knowledgeable about the property. She provided me with all the paperwork. She took me on a very lovely walk around the property and showed me all the amenities. I have decided I would like to rent a unit in this complex. Malie, had a very kind and helpful attitude. She definitely was a part of me making a decision to proceed with my application. Not only did she have a very professional look. She was very approachable and friendly. not only did she have a very professional look. She was very approachable and friendly. She did a very good job. I look forward to living here in the very near future Sincerely, Jeanie Ann Pruitt

I can't say enough good things about the staff at Retreat at North Bluff! Everyone I’ve interacted with has been friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful. There’s one young man in particular he really went above and beyond for me. He was honest, respectful, and incredibly patient while helping me through the process of qualifying for my apartment. He made everything so smooth, and I truly felt like he cared. It gives me peace of mind knowing there are people like him working here. Top-notch service all around. Highly recommend living here!

Absolutely avoid this place, new management is worse than the last, I put up with these guys for a year and couldn't leave sooner, but kept from leaving this horrible review they 100% deserve, but after seeing them deduct almost $400 from my deposit for cleaning fees etc, they deserve nothing less (I have attached pictures for you to decide). The management here took 10+ months to purchase three $2 pins for the weight machines. Over a year to re-upholster 2-3 barely functioning equipment and to drag away all non-working equipment without a replacement (I bet the dust/grime from under the old treadmill still hasn't been vacuumed 3+ months later). The property gates never functioned once during my one year of staying here. The gym is absolutely filthy. The clubhouse/gym bathroom water smells like human feces (I dare you to go wash your hands in the Mens community bathroom when you're visiting, then smell your hands, and tell me I'm wrong). They have zero pride in this community. The gym ceiling fan has been rotating on high with a missing blade and bound to take someones head out when it inevitably comes loose (which remained in full gear without repair even after I emailed them about it out of general concern). During the winter 2022 power outages, we were the last property to receive electricity, days after every community around us had their power back on, simply because property had not effectively communicated with Austin utilities and reset the breakers (which is the properties responsibility). Not to even dive deep into the absolute nightmare it was dealing with the previous management upon moving in. I was literally asked if it would be possible for me to postpone my move in date as the property was not made ready yet. I came home to paint being everywhere on the plank wood floors. After moving in, I uncovered and cleaned so much trash from the previous tenants inside and in between the cabinets, grime inside the washer and drier, and even left over items such as drink coolies, hairpins, magazines, and even nails and broken glass in between the carpet, literally for months non-stop, so its a bit hard to swollow I have to pay this lazy management $355 for "deep cleaning" my unit, even if not perfect (aka spraying the tiles with a quarter ounce of bleach and walking away for 2 minutes), not to mention I thoroughly cleaned the unit, tub...etc, when I left (again, even if not perfect) when you could have the entire unit professionally cleaned for less than $75. When I left I was unable to remove a simple 2 screw tv mount from the wall as my tools were burried deep inside the moving truck which I let them know about, but I have a hard time considering removing 2 screws from the wall by these lazy b&!@ cost $355, when my entire vehicle checkup and recent dental visit combined cost less than $200. They are thiefs, If you plan on retrieving your deposit, use any of the limited to non-existent amenities, or come home to a clean intact apartment to begin with, I would steer clear from this place.
