Loved living here for 3 years! Management was always responsive and David, Rubelio, and the rest of the maintenance staff were outstanding, best of anywhere I’ve lived. Quiet despite the highway nearby, but you do have to drive to get basically anyway

I wanted to wait until the end of my lease before leaving a review so I could fairly evaluate the full experience. There were a few positives: Josh in the leasing office was consistently kind, professional, and easy to communicate with. If all interactions had been handled with that level of professionalism, this review would likely look very different. Unfortunately, my overall experience at Nalle Woods was disappointing. One of the biggest issues was upper management professionalism. Early in my lease, I raised a legitimate safety concern involving a neighboring resident whose behavior made me uncomfortable enough to document the issue. Rather than taking a measured, resident-focused approach, I was met with immediate defensiveness and dismissiveness from certain management, including comments suggesting they “know their residents” and implying I may have misunderstood the situation before any real effort was made to understand what had happened. My teen daughter overheard that conversation, which made an already uncomfortable situation worse. Later in my tenancy, an intoxicated man attempted to get my daughter to answer the door while I was not home. Police were involved. At one point, I was told by the police the associated vehicle was connected to the complex, but later management stated the individual did not live there. Regardless of the conflicting information, it was a frightening experience as a parent. Although the maintenance team were friendly, maintenance and operations were also inconsistent. During my lease, I dealt with: * HVAC issues twice * appliance problems, including a leaking refrigerator * electrical outlet failures in bathrooms * flickering lighting / electrical concerns * unresolved finish deterioration in the shower Toward the end of my lease, maintenance twice arrived unannounced after I had specifically requested scheduling coordination because I work from home and my minor daughter is sometimes home alone. One visit happened while I was actively on a client meeting, with persistent knocking disruptive enough that I had to leave the meeting to answer the door. I again asked that maintenance coordinate scheduling. The very next day, maintenance returned unannounced while my daughter was home sick and alone. The loud, repeated knocking frightened her until I happened to pull up and intervene. While they did not enter, that experience was not handled appropriately. As for the location: if you’re considering Nalle Woods because of the Westlake address, understand what you’re actually getting. Yes, it’s in a beautiful area, but daily convenience is poor. There is essentially one practical way in and out, traffic around 360 is frequently frustrating, and the ongoing construction made accessibility worse during my entire tenancy. Grocery stores and most essentials are not nearby. The property feels far more isolated than the marketing suggests. The “Lake Austin access” is also overstated. While proximity sounds appealing, actual practical access for residents is limited, and the area right outside of the complex is private property, and under the bridge is boat access and not something I found meaningfully usable. For the price point, the apartments themselves felt average at best. In my opinion, you are paying for the zip code, not for exceptional management, amenities, or overall resident experience. Not every experience here was negative, but based on professionalism, responsiveness, safety concerns, maintenance handling, and value for price, I would not choose to live here again. Clarifications in response to management: A) I never asked for a resident to be removed, only help resolving the issue or a transfer option. B) Maintenance had over a week of access, I was told work would be done Monday, but they instead arrived unannounced Tuesday and again the next day despite scheduling requests. C) I was told there was no usable security footage after the incident involving my daughter, despite surveillance signage on property.

Rubellio, David, Josh, Kate and Lindsay take extra care to make sure we have a safe, secure and positive environment to live in. The team keeps the beautiful pool maintained daily. The staff respond to maintenance requests quickly and efficiently. There are spacious garages available. Most of the staff live on sight. A rarity these days. The community looks out for one another. There is routine security checks nightly. So grateful I live here. My dog Jack loves it. There is a beautiful dog park on-site. Lastly, there are natural wood paths on the property to walk your pups. Lastly, they even provide treats for your fur babies. You won’t regret choosing to live here. The construction out front is set to be complete by June. Now is the time to rent at Nalle Woods. They even have Food Trucks, Sushi, Art events and Vendors who trade for discount services like AT&T.

Nalle Woods of Westlake is truly an exceptional place to live. One of its biggest advantages is the beautiful, green surroundings – plenty of trees, well-maintained grounds, and great walking paths make spending time outdoors a real pleasure. The amenities are top-notch – the pool is perfect for relaxing on warm days, and the 24/7 gym is a huge plus for anyone who likes to stay active. The staff is incredibly responsive, helpful, and always friendly, and the maintenance team deserves special recognition – they are quick, professional, and reliable. It’s also an ideal place for dog owners – there’s a dedicated dog park and a great community of dogs to socialize and play with. At the same time, it’s very family-friendly – with a small playground, a pool, and lots of walking paths for kids to enjoy. The location is another big advantage – close to the bridge and nearby parks, making it a great base for getting around and enjoying the area. Highly recommended!

Absolutely beautiful place to live. I love all the trees and the pool and the location. Management responds fairly quickly to calls. The only issues I have had have been with a few neighbors smoking and their rent payment is a bit confusing. Overall I love the vibe and I would definitely recommend it.
