Apartment Complex with Very Poor Security and Cleanliness Below is a detailed account of my unsatisfactory experience with the Lenox Grand apartment complex located at 13505 Burnet Rd, Austin, TX 78727. This information serves as a cautionary tale for prospective tenants. On Monday, June 1st, my wife and I visited our daughter, who resides in this apartment complex. At midnight on Tuesday, June 2nd, our vehicle, parked in the visitor area, was subjected to an attempted theft. As evidenced in photo 1, the rear glass on the driver’s side was shattered in an attempt to steal the vehicle. Photo 2 depicts the damage inflicted upon the vehicle during this attempted theft, fortunately, the perpetrators were unsuccessful. Photo 3 illustrates the location where the vehicle was parked, revealing that the main access gate to the parking lot was left completely open. Photo 4 provides a more comprehensive view of the open access gate. Notably, this gate has remained in this state for over five months, and several tenants have reported this security issue, yet management has failed to address it. Photo 5 showcases the name of the complex adorned with balloons, ostensibly intended to entice prospective tenants with the notion of a desirable living environment. However, this facade is deceptive, as the reality is far from it. Regarding the cleanliness of the complex, it falls significantly short of expectations. The hallways of the various buildings are in a state of disarray, with visible cockroaches and ants on the floors. Something very important is that the residences do not have surveillance camera systems anywhere, which could help the police with any investigation after an incident. Photo 6 provides a visual representation of the condition in which my vehicle was left, necessitating its towing to a repair facility due to its inability to start. When seeking assistance from the Administration staff and the manager, they asserted that they were not responsible for the security of vehicles and individuals. They cited the rental contract signed by residents as exempting them from any liability in this regard. Given these comprehensive details, I urge prospective tenants to carefully consider whether they are willing to reside in an insecure and unsanitary environment like this.

Xavier has gone above and beyond to make sure that I feel welcomed at Lenox Grand. He made sure that I was able to tour all of the units that I was interested in when most other places give an attitude if you want to view more than two available units. I found a great apartment here. The amenities are very nice, parking is ample, and It's conveniently located to the highway, metro, groceries, shopping, downtown, etc. Highly recommend Lenox Grand.

Recently moved into this complex and the front office was very kind and helpful. Xavier took me on the tour of a few units that met the criteria of what I was looking for, and Jessica assisted with helping answer any questions I had about the community! The complex has recently had new management take over so don’t be discouraged by previous older reviews. It is very clear that this new management is putting in effort to clean up the mess left from the previous management company. From signing my lease to moving in and getting all of my keys, Xavier and Jessica made the process stress free! Thank you both!
