I needed a second chance and they came through I seen and read reviews, I wasn’t promised anything but was treated with respect and nothing but kindness through the process and fast response, I’m happy and I would recommend moving here and where I was living before I can’t complain for this major upgrade thanks again to llyasmin and the women in the front…..I’ll be enjoying my move here.

Review Title: The Iconic at Mueller—A Health Hazard with Dishonest Management I lived at The Iconic at Mueller for 8 months, and I’ve never felt so disrespected, unsafe, and emotionally drained in my life. This wasn’t just bad management—it was a full-blown crisis masked by lies and retaliation. Let me break it down: 🧯 City Inspectors Had to Step In—Three Times After months of begging for basic repairs—like hot water—we had no choice but to involve the city. Inspectors came out three separate times to investigate the hot water issue, the black mold, the broken ventilation, and the trash overflow. They took photos, notes, and even measured temperatures in our shower. Still, nothing changed. We were forced to take cold showers for six months straight. That’s over 200 cold showers, while the office staff kept saying, “We’ll send someone today.” They never did. 🧑💼 Office Staff: Dishonest, Dismissive, and Possibly Covering for Each Other Latoya, the property manager, was the worst part of this experience. She lied to our faces repeatedly—about maintenance, about squatters, about inspections. One day she told us the people living in vacant units.” The next day, police were dragging them out. She knew exactly what was going on and still chose to deceive us. Samantha, the district manager, was no better. She acted like she was there to help, but every conversation felt like a performance. She’d promise action, then disappear. It felt like the entire staff was covering for each other, protecting a broken system instead of protecting residents. 📑 We Documented Everything—and They Still Ignored Us We weren’t passive. We kept records. - 10 to 15 pages of emails, phone logs, and office visit notes. - Daily calls. Daily emails. Daily walk-ins. - Photos of mold, trash, broken fixtures, and cold water readings. - Names, dates, and direct quotes from staff. None of it mattered. Instead of fixing the issues, they retaliated. We started getting lease violations for petty things—like having boxes outside our door. It was clear they were trying to silence us. 🐀 Living Conditions Were Unlivable - Black mold on walls and ceilings. - Rats and crickets crawling through light fixtures and outlets. - Pools that looked like toxic slime pits. - Trash mountains that sat for weeks, attracting flies and maggots. - Overcrowded units with five grown men in one-bedroom apartments stacked with bunk beds. - Homeless individuals squatting in empty units, while management lied about it. --- This place is a disgrace. It’s not just mismanaged—it’s dangerous. The Iconic at Mueller should be shut down, the staff replaced, and the property fully inspected. No one deserves to live like this. DO NOT MOVE HERE. You’ll regret it.

I lived in this apartment for six months with black mold. I have been to the ER three times since, and I developed severe mold toxicity and now have asthma. I am using an inhaler and taking steroids because of the negligence of management and maintenance. I was immediately dismissed & disrespected by the front office, and maintenance laughed in my face. They “cleaned” the vents, by powerwashing them and spraying fabuloso. This only spread more spores, pictured below is a before and after, including my indoor plant which sprouted a mushroom and was covered in mold a mere five minutes after the “cleaning”. Additionally, my chest Xray and inhaler. My life is forever changed from living in this godforsaken apartment, they dont care whether you live or die here.

They don’t pay locators. My client moved in back in February and we still haven’t gotten paid. The female at the front desk is also rude. When I asked her a question she said “that’s above my job description”. I don’t recommend this place.
