Gibson Flats Apartments

I've lived in several apartment complexes in Austin, and Gibson Flats is by far the most beautifully run and maintained. The apartment I rented itself is well outfitted with a great kitchen and appliance, stylish flooring and light fixtures, and special features like enclosed bike storage, electric car charging station, and a great walkable location. The gym is good for days when you feel like driving to your health club (although Life Time's 57,000-square-foot luxury gym is next door). Best yet is the leasing/management team of Zulema, Alec, and Julia who took care of every detail and made the moving in process a snap.

Lived here for the past six months and have had consistent issues with the A/C so the unit has always felt swampy. The building won’t fix it (I’m assuming because it’s an expensive fix) but has been responsive to other service requests. I wouldn’t recommend the building but the location is great.

My girlfriend and I love calling this place home. The team here from Miguel in maintenance to Zulema, Julia, and Alec on the leasing team make living in this prime location so much more special. We just got a new puppy and the leasing team treats him like part of their family. Miguel has been going the extra mile making sure that our apartment stays in perfect shape. I can't recommend this place enough. It is the team of the building that make it so highly regarded in our eyes.
