This property offers a desirable location with excellent amenities like a rooftop pool, well-appointed gym, and attractive common areas, fostering a positive social atmosphere for many residents. However, some common concerns include frequent issues with parking garage gates and elevators, which can be inconvenient, along with occasional reports of pests and noise from neighboring units. While the staff generally receives praise for their helpfulness, particularly during move-in, there have been some inconsistencies in communication and responsiveness regarding maintenance and security.

It would be unfair to give this place one star as it does have some nice amenities like the gym and the rooftop pool. However, with all the issues this place has going on I recommend looking elsewhere considering a one bedroom goes for well over 2k and for the same price you can find a much nicer complex in the South Lamar area. To start, the biggest issue is the parking. The gate to the parking garage breaks once a week or so. You might think thatâs not an issue as they have parking in the basement too (if that gate is workingâ it often breaks too) but then you get down to the basement and find out the elevators for the garage are broken too. And if the gate ever appears to be working⊠be careful! Iâve watching it randomly decide to shut on the roof of someoneâs car! If you plan on ever having people over; good luck. They have around 15-20 guest parking spots which I can assure you is not enough for a complex with over 350 units. Now all these issues would be fine if the staff were somewhat competent, but instead we get an email and the first line states âHereâs a more polished and professional version of your message.â Iâm all for using ChatGPT but please please please take the 15 seconds to reread it. Itâs honestly embarrassing, and is a reoccurring theme with them. Theyâre focusing all their efforts onto designing Easter egg scavenger hunts when half the complex is parking in the 7/11 parking lot cause the gates wonât open. Now thereâs a bunch of other issues like the halls smelling like trash, cars being broken into, rats in the walls, and a long other list of stuff. But you get the point. Itâs not the end of the world but not issues you want to deal with after a long day of work. Take your 2k, go down the street, and find a nicer place while maybe even saving a little money.

I do not recommend living at 1515 South Lamar. In just 10 months of living here, our cars have been targeted for theft three separate times. My laptop and glasses were stolen from my car, and this has made us feel extremely unsafe. For a building at this price point, security should be taken much more seriously. On top of that, the fob system is a constant problem. Almost every month, there are issues with the fobs not working for parking access or elevators. When I have guestsâespecially guests with childrenâthis becomes a major inconvenience because I have to walk long distances just to find an elevator that works, and sometimes even those elevators are out of service, forcing us to take the stairs. Paying around $2,800 a month and dealing with repeated security issues, unreliable access systems, and broken elevators is completely unacceptable. Basic safety and reliable access to your own home should be expected, not a constant struggle. Very disappointing experience.

Absolutely terrible experience with this building. Management is not responsive most of the time, things are constantly broken, and no one answers the phone when you actually need help. Today I got stuck in the parking because the garage gate and access door werenât working â and of course, no response from anyone. If you get stuck here, youâre completely on your own. On top of that, my car was broken into twice in their parking. A tablet, sunglasses, and other items were stolen, along with my parking badge â and I had to pay to replace it. This place is poorly managed and frustrating to deal with. I will not be renewing my lease and I strongly recommend others think twice before moving in.
