Ellwood at Lake Travis

As a first time apartment resident, this place has exceeded our expectations. Communication was a little challenging since we were 3 1/2 hours away trying to relocate to the area and their phones were down for weeks...... it would take a little while for them to respond which is only frustrating if you're on a time crunch and need a question answered asap... otherwise if you have the time to wait for a response by the next day they're pretty on point. As a resident now I see how busy they are and i get it! I do think if they had a little more understanding towards the fact that this is a really serious life changing/pivotal moment for some people and responding a little faster feels personal... that's the only thing that would make our experience 5 plus stars. Just have someone in the office that responds to emails and texts faster.... its a lot of money and a big decision so that would be my biggest suggestion. Overall that is minor in comparison to the professionalism, kindness/hospitality, cleanliness, and responsiveness to any concerns etc that you may have once you are a resident you feel like one. As a young women living here with 2 teenagers, I can confidently say that I feel SAFE here. That is huge for me. I have no issues whatsoever. It is quiet and all of our neighbors are nice! Such a peaceful community! If you need help, you put in a work order and maintenance is here asap. It's been a wonderful apartment experience and as first timers, I feel spoiled because I've heard horror stories of apartment living and I've had nothing but a great experience living here. I am a home owner on 1 acre in rockport tx. And I have no regrets switching to the apartment life as we transition to Austin. As my daughter and I were enjoying 1 of the 2 main pools here, we saw a family touring by Steve who helped us and is an exceptional person/employee. And my thoughts that I said out loud to my daughter were "who wouldn't want to live here" best decision ever. I'm glad we are here!

The parking is kinda ridiculous, but staff is nice but I’m not sure they know what they’re doing I’ve had an air conditioner problem for 2 months now and I was being told I’m fine I’m making it up and they keep changing only 1 part and still not working. I was told my unit just can’t keep up but when it was 110 I had no curtains yet and it was 69 in my house so cold I had to up it! But now it’s 80-90 it’s 80 in my house and not blowing and thermostat not working! They keep it running and running while I’m at work when clearly not working and ran my bill up 200 bucks

The move here was great !! Everyone was very attentive especially Maddy who made sure our move went extra smooth! Great space and an awesome location!! Would recommend!

Been here for a few months now. Here is my review. The place is nice, but the environment is kinda ghetto. 1. The neighbors are extremely loud here, banging/running around at all hours of the night. Unfortunately, management is very lenient about the noise. 2. Gate always broken/open. No security. 3. Car break-ins in the area! My friend had his gun stolen. Lock your car. The maintenance guys are awesome.
