This review is for Camila at the front desk specifically! She was lovely and very helpful to me and my partner. We had just decided to walk in and see pricing on apartments, but she gave us a full tour and made us feel heard, welcomed, and informed. Thank you so much!

DO NOT MOVE HERE! Luxury is nowhere to be found at these apartments- ALL appliances are old, falling apart, and when "fixed" its just painted over and barely working. Washer and dryer combo in unit does not work- laundry room units are either broken or filled because there's only 8 washers and 8 dryers for the whole complex. You have to pay for your visitors to park $7 an hour & also as a tenant you pay $70 for parking per month. Parcel lockers don't work half of the time & delivery drivers leave your packages in the garage to be stolen. Elevators break every other day, hallways smell like dead animals, pigeon poop all over pool area, management will hang up on you if you ask to speak to a supervisor.. I would highly suggest finding something worth the money because I deeply regret signing my lease here.

Don't trust recent high reviews as they are likely fake. This is a balanced review based on 3 years of being a resident and seeing three different managements (that should tell you everything about this property). Pros - Location. Pretty much the only reason for the 2 stars. You are close to both S Congress and Downtown and my apartment overlooks the creek so it's very green Cons - Everything else. As many legitimate reviews have mentioned, the hallways and property are poorly maintained. They only bothered to paint the first floor as they offer those apartments on short-term leases. Security is lax and the garage and other doors are often open and I once saw a homeless guy sleeping in the hallway to exit the building! Package delivery is a mess. Despite package lockers, packages don't always get properly delivered and if left at doorstep or outside the lockers, they get stolen. I've had this happen a few times. Maintenance for apartments used to be good with Greystar, although they didn't fix the elevator for 3+ months. Since the new management took over in Jan 2026, the transition hasn't been great, with no way to place maintenance requests until the portal is up (it's been a few weeks already). They charge fairly high rents for how poorly maintained everything is. Apartments themselves are clearly old as well and this isn't good value for money. Only recommend staying for the location if rents are super cheap i.e.

I would strongly advise against moving to Crescent Apartments. The location on South Congress might seem appealing, especially for those moving from out of state, but don’t be fooled — the condition of the property does not match the rent or fees. Maintenance here is terrible. The parcel lockers were down for over 3 weeks, meaning packages were either delayed or lost. The trash dumpster is constantly overflowing, creating an eyesore and a health hazard. It's no surprise that rats and roaches are a common sight around the property. On top of that, they charge a mandatory amenities fee — for what exactly? A dirty, poorly maintained community laundry room and an outdated gym. These “amenities” are nowhere near the quality you'd expect, especially for the price. Many people end up here because of the location, but the truth is there are brand new apartment complexes just 10–15 minutes away that are not only cleaner and more modern but actually cheaper. My best advice: don’t sign a lease here. Use a free apartment locator agent (there are plenty in Austin) and find something newer, nicer, and worth your money. FYI if you look at the newest positive reviews, you'll notice that those 'reviewers' are leaving 5 star ratings for the 'Muse' sister property down the street. That's suspicious.

Do not move here! Lived here for a year and a half and the place has gone down hill considerably. 1. Trash everywhere, they make you pay $31 dollars a month for valet trash service that is supposed to pick up your trash, it rarely gets picked up and when you tell management they say they will inform the trash service but nothing ever changes. 2. Laundry on the 2nd floor has 4 broken machines out of 8 and are always broken. Place is always filthy, rarely cleaned. They stacked residential washers on each other so you cannot reach the drawer to add bleach unless you are 8 feet tall. 3. The rooftop just reopened after being closed for 4 months, it looks exactly the same and has old gross cushions on the furniture. 4. The elevator has been broken for 4 months, they say it broke because of the rain storm?? No urgency to get fixed. 5. Parking is $70 per month per car. You see broken windows often. Side gates are rarely secured letting anyone walk into the building.
