Cascade Apartments

If I could do no stars I would. I lived at this apartment community for almost 14 months (I moved out about two months before my lease ended). I normally don’t leave reviews, but I genuinely want to warn others so they can avoid the experience I had. Please don’t let the price fool you. It may look affordable, but it was not worth it. I stayed in Unit 225, and my AC did not work for two straight months. I submitted multiple maintenance requests, left several voicemails, and even went to the office in person. At first, they didn’t even have the correct key to my unit. I had to provide them with a copy of my key so they could make one. Even after that, no one came to fix it until I repeatedly went into the office and asked again. When maintenance finally showed up, they had an attitude. It was incredibly frustrating and stressful, especially dealing with no AC for that long. I also had issues with my dryer. It worked for about two weeks after I moved in and then completely stopped. I contacted maintenance, and I was basically told they couldn’t help. I had to air-dry my clothes for months. It felt like no one cared. The property itself is very old (I’ve heard it dates back to around the 1970s or even earlier), and it shows. There were constant bug issues, no matter how clean I kept my apartment. Toward the end of my lease, I started seeing rats. That was the final straw for me. Communication was terrible. Voicemails often went unanswered, and management turnover seemed constant. It never felt like residents were a priority. I cried many times living here because I felt stuck and unheard. I stayed longer than I should have. I’m sharing this so others can make an informed decision. Until there is new management and serious improvements, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere. These apartments are the worst!!! They have a pest problem and Rats!!! Management was all over the place and unorganized!!!! The pool was down all year long and none of the amenities properly worked!! Here is a few photos of how the rats were in my apartment.

Well iam a resident at the apartment complex and are very satisfied with the staff especially Mrs. Ingrid who has been here since I moved in always pleasant helpful resourceful and very kind which Makes it very helpful and heartwarming to make me even stay moreso because at one point I was looking to find another place to live but she makes it my home. Mrs.maggie is also very kind helpful supportive resourceful and dedicated to her but mainly very straightforward and very reliable with her word as a person and especially not rude and has an open door policy because I was having problems with my unit but she stepped right in and focused on the problem and iam very satisfied which makes me feel safe and secure

Charged us late fees ($150) after a month of them going back and forth with us saying we didn't have a signed lease despite us having proof that their own employee confirmed that we did sign a lease. We waited to get our lease fixed due to month to month charges being on our ledger and it wasn't fixed until 10:38pm on the 3rd (last day to pay rent). Then emails get ignored when asking about the credit for late charges because it wasn't our fault they messed up! Never paid our rent late in the two years we've been here and honestly we should've taken this as a sign not to release. Edit: their response is bs they haven’t reached out even when I’ve sent an email. We called the office and we were supposed to get a “call back” never happened !!

1 star is honestly too generous... What an absolute nightmare dealing with the management and maintenance. Desiree is probably one of the dumbest people I've ever encountered, and that is saying something. When I applied in early May I was told the unit would be ready by the end of the month. I went by the day before I was supposed to move in as I had still not heard anything back about my lease. Come to find out the apartment was still trashed meaning it sat and festered for at least a few weeks. Nothing for the make ready had been complete and once I moved in there was people in and out of the apartment for the next few days and still nothing had actually been accomplished. There was still trash from the previous tennants I wound up throwing out myslef. The first night I actually spent there I noticed the apartment was infested with bed bugs, so I am very greatful I didn't unpack any of my belongings. The parking lot also fills up at night with car campers and is not a safe environment after dark. I reached out to management right away who replied only with " we appreciate your patience... " needless to say I moved out immediately and have since reached out multiple times about returning part of $2000 in deposits and rent I paid with out any form of response. Considering their incompetence has now displaced my dog and myself I would recommend staying away from this complex at all cost.
