Cardinal Point Apartments

Not enough parking and the parking spaces are too small. There is always a strong weed smell no matter the time of day. People have children and families live there. There needs to be stricter enforcement on that. People can’t park, parking suvs and trucks in compact parking spots, parking in double spots, parking in handicap spots when they aren’t even handicap. This place needs some better management

We lived in Cardinal Points Apartments for 5 years and it has been the best experience for my family, Kathy has been awesome in every way she is helpful, professional and communicative and she goes above and beyond to make sure a customer's needs are met, compassion really matters all the staff are really kind and helpful, we had to move out since we bought our own house, if I ever want to live here again I definitely would and recommend everyone to experience all the goodies these apartments has to offer, thank you Kathy for wonderful experience.

UPDATE 2/8/24 - Christmas called me back and is polar opposite of Kathy. Thumbs up to Christmas' efforts. She went above and beyond to help me and undid all the hopeless feelings I left with in dealing with Kathy! :) I know parents who's kids are in the afterschool program there with nothing but good things to say about that place. You should still read me initial bad experience and avoid Kathy. 2/6/24 - 1 star review below: The place is wonderful for what they are doing and looks very nice. This is more about the property manager. You really should read this to avoid being disappointed in such a promising place by the main person you likely will 1st interact with. This is long, apologies... BUT worth every word! Kathy in front office the opposite of helpful! She demonstrated zero customer service personalities...with a wonderful organization that is supposed to be helping people. Nope, not her. She was very clear I needed to "bow to her every move." Plus she was demeaning in her limited interactions and only made eye contact when she was "proving how right she was". I was so excited when I found this place as to the potential solution to my current living situation as a single dad to my 10 year old boy...only to have my hopes deflated by her selfish/self centered behavior. Bad decision to have her in front of the house. She was combative, lacked any interest in helping me understand processes there AND exhibited complete disregard my situation...she REALLY knocked the wind out of me! ...mind you while I "interrupted" her phone call @ 10 am and showed up @ 2:50 for our 3 pm appointment "early". I couldn't believe it. Not once did she show any compassion into understanding a potential new resident OR any interest in helping me through the process. I left feeling defeated and back to the hopeless situation that place was supposed to help me with. She even had the nerve to hand me my application and money back that I spent 2 hours putting together because I had written in areas "that aren't supposed to be written on." Patience is rated a negative number for her if it existed. I am going to tell all my friends to stay away from this Cardinal Point RiverPlace location because how completely insensitive she acted. She told me she was the property manager and gleefully gave me her supervisors complete EMAIL ONLY. I am a single father who looked to Cardinal Point RiverPlace to help me out of a bad living situation so my son can continue at the school he's been at since kindergarten. I didn't do anything to deserve how demoralized she made me feel. She is the worst person you want to meet when trying to get help with something. I really hope higher ups read my words and reconsider her being in that role for that community - she is NOT the right person in the right seat.
