Burl North Apartments

Apartment is a little dated and doesn't come with certain appliances. Staff is friendly, helpful, prompt. Maintenance are quick and friendly as well. The area isn't the best but for the price of the apartment in proximity to everything is pretty good.

My car got broken into in the parking lot, with no surveillance cameras OR security like its posted. Shady people walking around all the time, even seen people jump our fence! Also was towed from here by “security” because they could not see my sticker. Replacement sticker is $300. Dont rent here.

I’ve lived here as a single woman for about 6 months now and have had zero issues with security or maintenance. Shawn is great and maintenance is super responsive. Neighbors are quiet and respectful. Love having wood floors on the second floor and really enjoyed using the fireplace this winter. All in all I would recommend if you’re looking for an affordable place that’s close to the city. Yes, there’s a questionable area of oltorf near by but I’ve never had any issues with crime or the unhoused.

I just recently moved in this past week and i am super happy with the process and the apartment. The application was easy and the apartment was perfect while moving in. Shawn is seriously amazing! Great communication and personality! So happy i chose this apartment to call home.

I moved to Burl North a month ago and I'm really enjoying being a resident. It's the perfect location, less than 2 minutes to I-35 or the 71 making it close to downtown, shopping and restaurants of every kind. I have a unit that was updated with new flooring, new kitchen appliances, counter tops and cabinets, plus the walls are a wonderful neutral color with white trim. The complex has been VERY quiet, there's always parking available and visitor spots are clearly marked. Even though I just moved in, I keep seeing maintenance improvements being made here and there around the complex. The biggest highlight in my opinion is Shawn, the apartment manager. I was impressed with him from day one! I had no recent rental history and a previous short sale. Plus I had already been turned down at another complex...after they took my deposit. Shawn was patient and kind as I explained my situation, read through the application and asked him questions. Even after getting my application accepted and actually moving in, nothing has changed about my opinion of Shawn. He's wonderful, not to mention helpful and responsive whenever you have a question, need maintenance, need to pick up a package, etc, etc. I couldn't ask for more.
