Berkshire Riverview

DO NOT MOVE HERE! You have been warned. They will charge you SO much for move out charges and then also keep your deposit. The management at Berkshire are scammers and will take you for everything you have. They are trying to charge us almost $1.5k for simple wear and tear because of a scratch on one piece of flooring even though they decided to pocket our $800 deposit. We lived at that apartment for 4 years- wear and tear will happen! By the way they sent us a collections letter TWO years after we have moved out without a proper official warning and we had no response from the apartment manager after we disputed the charge initially. We were told by the apartment manager that she will speak to upper management and come back to us, but she never got back to us. Now, 2 years later, we receive a shocking collections letter out of the blue. Multiple residents have been hit with excessive move out charges (just look at the reviews). The only redeeming qualities about this apartment are the location and the pool. However, forget wanting to use the trail right now - it is a construction site and the traffic is AWFUL around the area at the moment. I live in Austin and I drive past Riverview almost every day. The apartment complex has gone downhill majorly which would make sense why they are stealing money from current and past residents. It’s a mess! A lot of the positive reviews are forced (they sometimes host apartment events and ask residents to leave good reviews). I am also in touch with some of the current residents and a many of them are extremely unhappy about the new requirement for guests to pay for parking. It seems like they are trying to steal money from current and past residents wherever they can. It also looks like frequent car break ins in the parking garage are STILL happening all these years later after we moved out. So disappointing. If you care about your money and safety- stay away.

Great team! One of the leading agents came by my office after hours on Saturday to give me my move-in keys. I was running very late and was a bit worried. I really appreciate all their help!

Had to pay $5 to hang out with my friend, what a terrible policy. Going to deter anybody that asks about this place. Apartment is nice but management ruins it
