Arroyo Seco Apartments

I lived at this property for 4 YEARS I had lots of issues with neighbors, parking, noise and kids running around in the back but I never complained. I was a VERY laid back easy going loyal tenant whom always paid my rent on time. However, once I decided to move; during my move out staff was super RUDE they accused me of dumping trash in the dumpster's when everyday the dumpster's are completely full of trash. People were moving out on the same weekend as me throwing out beds, furniture, etc yet they still accused me of dumping. They totally singled me out and then stated I would be charged for literally throwing away trash bags. I was also charged WAY EXTRA for the last half of my months stay; I wanted to have an easy smooth move out without rushing to move everything at once so I asked if I could extend my stay to an extra 2 weeks and was charged over $1850. I took ALL my furniture nothing was left behind other than some trash bags which were thrown in the full dumpster. Not sure why I had to get charged so much extra to be there just 2 weeks knowing the market in that area is super slow. I felt taken advantage of! Not to mention during valet trash my trash was always skipped but yet I paid $25 a month for it? I then would have to dump my own trash which the bins were always full! So needless to say moving forward this property will continue to have issues seeing the truth on how this property is run. Good luck Arroyo Seco Villas. Glad to be out

Update: I've now been here since 2024. I'm still very happy with this community. Renee in the office is a life saver and Adrian and Manny are the best maintenance I've ever had at a complex. Also, I've read the reviews and I don't ever see the bad stuff people complained about. The parking lot IS well lit, there is plenty of parking where I live, the property IS always maintained well. I walk my dog around so I see a lot of the property while I'm walking him. I never hear parties or loud music, you can barely hear if your neighbors are yelling (which is a rarity for me). They are correct about door slamming. You can definitely hear that and it's not pleasant if they do it all day long. People are complaining about the littlest things. They should live where I used to live and they'll see this is a 5 star property. Very happy living here. I feel it has a safe environment. Beautiful apartments that are 1 story so no one above you stomping around:). The maintenance staff is awesome and responds in a timely manner and go above and beyond. I do wish there were ceiling fans in the gym, it gets pretty warm in there. I've read people complain about the shooting range. I cannot hear it at all in my apartment and only when I'm outside can I hear it a little. I'm sensitive to sounds and this has not been an issue at all. The only negative I have is my neighbors have smoked in their apartment. It's much less bothersome now as I read you can spray a mixture of vinegar and water in the air and the smoke smell is completely gone.

Beautiful unit and property. Ms. Robles in the office is amazing.

Been here for a bit over a year now and we really enjoy it. Helpful office staff, quiet, clean and safe environment. Always quick with maintenance as well
