Marcellus was great at answering all our questions for the complex and the city. He was patient and helpful with all the decisions we had to make in a new city. The building is very secure.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would, they overcharge, they put a 3 day notice on my door for being one day late and the day late was a federal holiday, which I explained to them my situation and was told it was fine because they have a grace period of like 7 days but they still put the 3 day notice on my door, also you get charged a flat insanely high rate for utilities whether you use them or not, the units were without hot water for months off and on during the months of winter, there were roaches, the pool seems to be always closed, they make you pay over 100$ a month for parking to park in the parking lot next to the building or you’d have to pay like 70$ a month to park across the street and they ask for the parking pass piece of paper back when you move out, there’s drug activity, maintenance goes into your apartment with out fair warning or you being told, they kept my security deposit and tried to tell me it cost over 1000$ to clean my apartment, I lived there 4 months and only slept there I didn’t cook, nothing, just slept and showered I didn’t even move anything in that unit, they argued with me about breaking my lease because they were at fault which was highly unprofessional, the animals in the building urinate on the steps and near the door to outside, you’ll get fined for almost anything, the pipes needed cleaned properly because they have drain flies and the garbage disposal wasn’t clean before I moved in so the apartment had a mold and nasty sewer smell, the pre furnished furniture was already damaged and used before I moved in, and the property managers will racially profile you, I overheard them talking about other tenants on multiple occasions which is highly unprofessional

Very clean upon move in! Lots of security inside and outside of the building. The only thing is cabinets space and storage is small.

401 Lofts feels like home. Awesome windows, natural lighting.

Just moved in. Management has been great with providing info and my apartment looks great!
