I’ve been a resident of The Gardens at Polaris Apartments for the past two years, and I can confidently say it’s one of the best places to live in the Polaris area. The office staff is always friendly, responsive, and extremely helpful. The community offers a good amount of greenery and wide roads, making it great for walks. It also has convenient access to nearby stores like Target, Kroger, UPS, and other outlets, many of which are just a short walk from the back gate. Even during winter, the team does an excellent job keeping the walkways and driveways clear. There are also public parks nearby for relaxation or running. For families, the community is located within one of the best school districts in the area.

I just moved out after two and a half years, and I can wholeheartedly recommend living here if you’re looking for a high-quality, quiet place to call home. The only reason I moved was because I finally bought a house, but I can honestly say I would have been perfectly happy staying here for years to come. I lived alone on the second floor (Azalea layout) with no garage and two cats. Pros - Quiet! I chose The Gardens based on a coworker’s recommendation, who told me he never heard his neighbors—and I can confirm that’s true. In over two years, I rarely heard a sound from other apartments. The buildings are well insulated. - Minimal traffic noise. - Neighbors were polite, friendly in passing, and respected privacy. - Excellent office staff—friendly, helpful, and professional. They truly take pride in their work. - Thoughtful floor plans. Main living areas are separated from neighbors by closets, laundry rooms, and stairwells. - Great storage! Plenty of shelving and cabinets for clothes, crafts, and hobbies. - Big patio space—fit a catio, chair, table, and planters comfortably. - Large windows with lots of light. - Tall ceilings, fireplace, and cabinetry give the apartment a high-end feel. - Carpet was soft, plush, and easy to clean—much better than typical apartment carpet. - Beautiful landscaping full of mature trees, flowers, and seasonal color. The Gardens really live up to their name. - Lots of wildlife—squirrels, songbirds, and ducks. It made the space peaceful and my cats loved watching through the windows. I didn't realise how much I would enjoy this - Common to see residents out walking and enjoying the pond and flowers. - Pet friendly! - Fast, reliable maintenance. Requests were handled quickly, and emergency help arrived within an hour. - Great access to I-71 via a private back gate—huge time saver. - Reasonable utilities: gas averaged $30–40/month; electric peaked around $70 even keeping 68°F year-round. - Snow and ice removal was prompt, and walkways were always salted. - Never had issues with packages or mail—Amazon delivered directly to my door. - Modest rent increases. My first renewal didn’t change, and the second went up about $50. - Each unit has its own large water heater with great pressure and endless hot water. - Regular (but not intrusive) maintenance and pest control. Never saw a single bug. - Easy parking and plenty of guest spaces. For Chase Employees - They offer a preferred employer discount that reduces your security deposit. - Two-minute drive to the Polaris campus (and you’re driving opposite traffic). I could set my alarm to 8:00 and be at my desk by 8:30 with no stress. - Walkable too—about a mile, 15–20 minutes at a casual pace. Neutral / Cons - No assigned parking. Guests always find spots, but you might occasionally park out of sight of your unit. About 95% of the time I parked directly in front, so it wasn’t an issue. - No “smart home” features like keypads or smart thermostats, which didn’t bother me but might matter to some. - The complex is very well lit—great for safety, but blackout curtains are a must for light-sensitive sleepers. - Air gets dry in winter. A humidifier helps. - No playground on-site. There’s one nearby, but you’ll need to cross a busy road. - Carpet edges on my stairs lifted slightly, but it was minor and easy to overlook. - Some written notices came off a little harsh. Overall, this is an excellent place to live—quiet, beautiful, well maintained, and run by genuinely good people. It’s rare to find an apartment complex that combines peace, convenience, and quality this well. I’m grateful for my time here and would absolutely recommend it to anyone considering The Gardens.
