These apartments offer a fantastic location right on campus, with spacious, fully furnished units that often include free laundry, coffee, and occasional food events, making them a step up from traditional dorms for many students. However, some residents have experienced issues with inconsistent air conditioning and hot water, as well as occasional cleanliness concerns upon move-in, which can be frustrating given the price.

Nice college apartments and view to the back of apartments. Very close to restaurants, few shopping stores.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I have had issues with roaches in this apartment since September. I’ve never seen a roach until I got here and I am terrified of bugs! The from desk NOR maintenance has never come to rectify the issue, luckily I have friends who were able to help because I cannot sleep like that. STEER CLEAR OF UPA.

Any amenities that UC writes UPA has are not true. Air conditioning is constantly broken and you do not have any control over temp in your rooms. There is no fitness center, no game rooms, no tv lounge areas either. Elevators break constantly and I cannot remember the last time we had all elevators running. It is nice having two bathrooms and two bedrooms, and the the kitchen and living room work just fine as well. The space is nice and I would still pick UPA over a traditional dorm, just prepare to be sweating every night in your sleep and to be prepared to take the stairs. Also, I lived in North so I had security, but the UPA South has no security and living there is a major safety risk and multiple people have been attacked simply trying to enter their place of residence, and there is nothing UC will do about it. We also do not have printers in our dorm so you have to walk to a location with a printer on campus to do any printing.
