Absolute money grabbers, their crappy apartments are not worth the trouble and money. They’ll pick pocket every dime you own because they simply can. We cleaned our apartment on move out for 3 days and it was spotless and still deducted from our security deposit for damages that were there when we moved and they never fixed when we asked them to. Do not sign one of their properties.

I love living in a Cornwell Properties apartment! Such a great group of people and a very nice complex! All locations are great spots on campus, totally check them out if you are looking for a lease during the school year.

Did not refund our deposit fully. They charged us $250 for a closet door that was NEVER in our apartment when we moved in. Also have difficulty doing simple math. We had a total of $325 dollars deducted (250 of which was the door that was never in our apartment). As you can see in the picture below they charged us $375. So they magically added in another $50 for fun I guess. All of this was brought to their attention in a letter we sent out on June 4th. Still have not been contacted to try and get this fixed.

This is my 5th year living in a Cornwell Properties apartment and I have had nothing but great experiences. Maintenance is extremely attentive and addresses any issues or concerns you may have in a timely manner. Office staff is friendly as well. I would certainly recommend this landlord if you are looking for an all around quality, off-campus housing living situation!

Graduating in May is going to be bitter sweet; while I’m so happy to be graduating, I’m sad to be leaving Palmer Place Apartments. Unit 112 has become my home away from home, thanks in part to your amazing staff. No matter what we needed, Cornwell responded quickly. I always felt safe living at Palmer Place and I was very comfortable with maintenance coming in to make repairs even when no one was home. You’re an amazing rental company. Anyone looking for a large, clean, quiet, updated and stylish apartment in Athens should call Cornwell Properties. I’ll miss you all! Nikki Worcester
