Icon Tower

I had an absolutely amazing experience living at ICON Tower for the past 2.5 years. From the moment I moved in, the experience was welcoming, professional, and stress free. A huge shoutout to Erica and Ben in the leasing office. They were both outstanding throughout my entire time there. They were always responsive, helpful, accommodating, and genuinely cared about the residents. Whether it was answering questions, helping with lease details, or handling anything that came up, they consistently went above and beyond. Greg from maintenance was also incredible. Anytime there was ever an issue, it was handled quickly and professionally. Greg was always friendly, reliable, and clearly took pride in keeping the building in great shape. The location is truly one of the best parts about living at ICON Tower. Being right in the heart of downtown Syracuse made everything extremely convenient, with great restaurants, bars, and events all within walking distance. The fitness gym was also a huge plus, very well maintained and one of the better apartment gyms I’ve used. After 2.5 years there, I can confidently say ICON Tower was a fantastic place to live, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for an apartment in Syracuse.

I lived in Icon tower for 5 years and had an incredible experience. The leasing office was responsive and accommodating to my requests. The maintenance staff was outstanding responding within a couple of hours to every issue I had. They were especially wonderful to my dog. this building is very pet friendly and has a couple of parks it is close to. It is close enough to downtown to walk and close enough to Upstate to get to work easily. It is situated quite well. The roof and gym were upkept well. I have recommended living here to anyone going to Syracuse. I always felt safe and well taken care of here. It is a family business and it shows in the way they care for the building and residents. There is no better place to live!

I had a wonderful experience living here and will truly miss calling it home. Erica, Greg, Amanda, and the entire icon tower team were always responsive and genuinely caring. Anytime I had a question or needed assistance, they were quick to help. It’s rare to find a team that goes above and beyond the way they do. I’m grateful for my time here and would highly recommend this community to anyone looking for a great place to live!

I am so grateful to have lived at Icon Tower during our stay in Syracuse. The rooms have lovely high ceilings and large windows with spacious kitchens. The building itself always felt safe and secure. Having a gym and indoor parking was perfect for the winter. They also have guest rooms available for rent. This was particularly useful during move in/out and when we had guests in town. What really sets Icon apart is the friendly management. They are incredibly responsive! Erica made the move in process seamless and was always happy to answer any questions. Greg fixed all of our minor maintenance issues immediately and was a wealth of local recommendations. I always felt comfortable approaching both Erica and Greg with anything I needed. They were both incredibly available, professional, and kind. It makes a world of difference living somewhere with such a wonderful team!

My wife and I both took jobs near Upstate Hospital and being unfamiliar with Syracuse wanted to be somewhere close and as safe as possible. During our time at Icon we never had an issue within the building. The building is very dog friendly and there are plenty of other dog owners within Icon Tower and surrounding buildings which tend to meet up and socialize at the park right next door. Gregg is the direct contact with issues around the building and he is a fantastic guy. I called him after his shift and left a voicemail last spring when the grill starter wouldn't work and he told me how to swap the battery so our grilled chicken dinner was saved. This was well after his shift was over. He really does care about the people in the building. Marion is the direct contact with billing and lease. She is also wonderful. We had to break our lease early and there ended up being a clerical error which she did not penalize us for when it was found. We really loved our apartment and the people in the building. If we were still in Syracuse we would definitely still be living there. My wife worked nights at Upstate and never had an issue sleeping during the day with noise. (We were 8th floor). The biggest positives with Icon Tower are the other tenants, the remarkably low cost for utilities, large dog friendly, location, in unit laundry, beautiful and quiet apartments, free workout facility, and the staff. To be fair the biggest potential upgrade would be the mail situation. The mail room is more of a drop zone and although it is not Icon's fault it can be very difficult to find packages especially during holidays if the delivery person is lazy and doesn't sort the packages to the shelves. Despite this open area I have to add that we never had a stolen package in our almost two years at Icon. One package went missing and from what we can tell it was a delivery error. We had multiple packages a week every week.
