Waldorf Astoria Residences New York

We reside at The Waldorf in New York, having been the first owners to settle in December of 2024 when the building’s completion was imminent. The management and staff were overwhelmingly kind and supportive. A stand-out was the engineering and operations manager, Bob Joogoon. Bob went out of his way on numerous occasions to make the residential occupation experience as welcoming and delightful as possible, demonstrating great skill and technical expertise when it was needed. The standard of the residential and amenities fit out, for which Bob had considerable responsibility, is absolutely outstanding. In fact, it is the best we have ever seen. Thank you, Bob, and thank you to the whole hospitality team!

I have the extreme good fortune to live in this spectacular residence. Yes, the residences are beautiful. There are incredible amenities and the quality is superb but what truly makes it great are the people who work here. All the concierges and other support staff are extraordinary however I’d like to specifically mention Bob Joogoon from the Operations Department. He is a true problem- solver and team player. There is no issue in individual units that he won’t troubleshoot and remediate. However, he goes above and beyond to coordinate with other departments and get things done and just today he procured some gorgeous pieces of custom hardware from the developer to replace some on a door that I had modified in my renovations which had rendered the original hardware unsuitable for the new geometry. Thank you Bob. You carry on the Waldorf tradition of achieving the impossible in just a few more minutes.

My partner and I came to have cocktail after hearing about the restoration. We were visiting NYC for the week and I was excited to see it. We were told that the bar was open to the public and were guided up to it. The young lady hostess told us there was no place to sit although the place was empty and we could see many tables at the bar area available. If your going to promote that your open it the public then let folks have a drink or don’t promote it.
