The West Street Buildings

You guys need a new doorman immediately. Rude, condescending, disrespectful man with braids in his 50s. I came in to pick something up from a tenant. He talks to people like he’s doing them a favor. While I was there, it was really disrespectful to a delivery man as well for no reason . Also, saying how he’s in a bad mood and he’s going to curse out one of the next delivery men because he had a fight with his wife. And last time I had to pick up something, I was downstairs, but we had to return three different times because he kept talking to my husband rudely until he said there was nothing there. The item was right next to him. This man is miserable and hates his his life, I don’t understand why he works in a luxury building. I was interested in this building before, but I would never move here with staff like this

Absolutely unacceptable experience. The staff, especially the doormen, were verbally abusive—completely unprofessional and inappropriate. I wouldn’t recommend living here to my worst enemy. The place is disgusting, the air conditioning never works, and it's simply not worth your time, energy, or money. Do yourself a favor—stay far away.

I lived here for over 6 years. It is overall a great building, and Louie, the morning doorman, was a ray of light in my life throughout my entire stay there. I never had an issue with hearing upstairs or adjacent neighbors, which is amazing. The ceilings are also very high, especially apartments on the 2nd and 3rd floors. **Important note for incoming tenants**: The accounting dept from IGI (Izaki Group Investments) runs accounting for 90 West, and they do not return security deposits when you move out. Wendy has been great to me, but there's only so much she can do when IGI Accounting's strategy is to ignore all outreach, unless they're asking you for money of course

Nice building, no issues with doormen. Spacious apartments for a good price compared to other buildings in the area for the same sq footage. Downside is no rooftop. Also, someone NEEDS to address the garbage problem. Trash room and chute needs to be cleaned.

Before there used to be many negative reviews on google regarding 90 West, however, most reviews seem to be deleted now. I recently went to view apartments, and was concerned with all the previous negative reviews I had seen online. When I asked the leasing agent, she rudely responded stating they do not care about online reviews because its not very realistic or such. I was able to have a quick chat with one of the residents as I exited out the building, who mentioned that management was typically indifferent, and was not responsive to issues. Overall, the attitude I received was not very comforting, and considering there is an ample amount of rental buildings with similar features in the area, I would advise to avoid this building.
