The Monarch

Moving state to state is not for the weak. Especially when it's from coast to coast. I came from Washington state and have been living in Air BNBs for the last three months trying to figure out what would fit for me. I was content on getting another Air BNB with July coming around the corner and during the world cup. But then I ran into a beautiful high rise appartment call the Monarch mid June. I quickly changed my mind once Gratsiela showed me the facility that are provided and the view the residence get on the roof top lounge. It was at that moment that I said I'm done with renting Air BNBs. Gratsiel was a true gem in her field. I was concerned about the time frame I had with my Air BNB ending July 10th, but from the time I met her in mid June I got in buy July 1st! She communicated consistently to ensure I had piece of mind through the whole process. And every small question I had she would answer them and if she didn't know she always followed up when she said she would. I'm so happy that I got the Monarch as my first true home in New York, but im truly blessed that Gratsiela is the one who I talked to and eased my anxiety from start to finish!

I had a great experience working with my leasing agent TRISTEN!. He was professional, very responsive anytime I had a question or issue, and made the entire process smooth from start to finish. He really listened to my concerns and was extremely considerate, which made me feel comfortable and supported throughout. His calm and reassuring demeanor helped ease any stress, and he consistently stepped in as a problem solver whenever something came up. His communication was clear and timely, and I truly appreciate all of his help. This apartment building sucks so don't move in here!!! We left the apartment after 14 months and now they want to deduct $1,300 from our security deposit because of some wall holes (where we put our paintings and TV) and wall paint. $1,300??!!! We painted the apartment with beige/light gray as the original paint they used was way too cheap. $1,300 IS WAY TOO MUCH AND AGAIN, THEY JUST WANT TO TAKE YOUR MONEY. There is no way they would need $1,300 for repainting and some wall holes!!!! THEY'RE THE WORST! SEE ATTACHED PHOTOS. This is how we left the apartment - we cleaned everything and even mopped the floors!
