I have seen THE FUTURE and I can only say that THE FUTURE is beyond anything you can imagine today, beyond anything you will be able to imagine tomorrow, and beyond anything any of us will be able to imagine until the AI singularity.... Which is nigh! Do you hear me? NIGH!!

My family owns a unit in The Future Condominium, and I grew up in the building, so I’ve seen it evolve over the years. Overall, there are many more pros than cons. Building Pros: The location is fantastic—close to the subway, with Trader Joe’s conveniently located in the building and Fairway just a block away. The gym and kids' playroom were recently updated, and the rooftop is a great space with chairs and lounges to relax. The building goes all out with decorations for Christmas and Halloween, which really adds a special touch. Cons: The lobby is definitely outdated. The Board has been talking about renovations for years, but it’s unclear if or when that will actually happen. Staff: I’ve experienced several building Supers over the years—five or six—and the current one has been here for 8 or 9 years. He’s knowledgeable and helpful. • The overnight team is very friendly and always willing to assist. • The afternoon team is incredible—always smiling and often have your mail and packages ready as you walk in. • The morning shift is a mixed experience: one team member is consistently friendly and helpful, while the other tends to be moody and bothered by everything. • The handyman and porters are excellent—professional and efficient. Condominium Board: The Board, overall, doesn’t come across as very approachable. Most members are older, and the group could really benefit from some younger, more dynamic members to bring fresh energy and ideas.

Very very friendly doormans except for the big white doorman guy named Jose If I remember correctly. He is a different person when talking to higher management (smiles and laugh and actually stands up which is rare). However, he treats delivery personnel very differently. I wonder how he treats the tenant. He sits there and hides in the back room regularly. He puts on the same sour face everyday and treat you like you owe him money. Also wants you to do his job for him, sorting and arranging packages, might as well scan it into the system for him. You will know who I’m talking about when you see him. Dude, you get paid, so perform your duties like you should’ve been. You only have one job. Aside from this outlier, this is a very nice building.

Great location - close to 4,5,6 subway - surrounded by restaurants and pubs and shopping - a Trader Joe’s in its basement.
