I’ve been living here for more than a year now but have had the worst experience after all. I had my car towed at least 6 times until today. When I first leased out my apartment last year, I asked if they have enough parking spaces and if it’s necessary to purchase an indoor parking spot. The leasing agent clearly stated that they have more than enough spaces for everyone so I didn’t think purchasing a parking space was needed. When I was getting my car towed here and there due to limited space, I went to the office and said that I’d like to purchase a spot but the lady said they were over capacity at the moment so they couldn’t give me one. Meanwhile, the apartment and the Aumm Aumm restaurant that shares the parking lot keep their vans parked in one spot for months and months which leaves the residents with even more limited space. The management emails all residents and let us know that any vehicle parked in one spot for more than 3 nights will be subject to get towed at resident’s expense, but never really do anything about the full load of cements and construction carts filling up the parking lot for months. It’s unbelievable that they remain nonchalant about their responsibilities and passing it down to the residents. I didn’t complain until later when my car finally got towed the 7th time today. I also had to deal with a lot of maintenance issues - My floor got warped up twice which led us to sleep in the model house for more than a week with no compensation about it. I also got my ankle bit by a dog of another resident and talked about it to management to advise all dog owners to wear a mouth guard on their dogs and keep them on a leash but there was no email announcement after all - Just a simple apology. I honestly was generous enough not to file a lawsuit about what’s happened but the management doesn’t even compensate a bit for towing fees or removing “their” vehicles before enforcing the residents’. I have to move out in a couple months for personal reasons, but even if it wasn’t for that reason, I would’ve looked for another place with no doubt. I already had a couple friends asking me if this apartment was a good choice and I gave my honest opinion to them based on my experience here.

I already posted the review a few month ago. I'd like to add something else that I think it's very important. Very disappointing experience with this apartment complex. The maintenance team used strong chemicals while servicing the AC, and since then the air quality in the apartment has been terrible. It has made it difficult to breathe and caused major discomfort, which is very concerning from a health and safety standpoint. The service staff (Mike) was also rude and dismissive when we raised concerns about the issue. Instead of helping, he acted unprofessionally and showed little concern for residents. Management seriously needs to improve both maintenance practices and customer service before more tenants are affected. There is not a luxury apartment complex at all. The rent is very high but quality of living is very poor. There are too many maintenance problem that I experienced living in my apartment and building (41) in general: AC, roof leak, broken floor, hot water and etc. Endless constrictions, always broken garage door, often problems with internet in a building 41. There are more other rental options around with much better balance between price and quality of living. The management is not cooperative at all. I would not recommend this place at all.

Where we live...pretty much one of the most important decisions. And I've lived in the Brownstones twice. They aren't the cheapest, so why did I return? The buildings themselves are terrific. Not the typical wood framed junk. Solid floors and walls to the point that I never heard my neighbors. Quality materials, granite counters, not veneers. Just great. The staff are what really sets this place apart though. The two times I had issues, someone was there quickly, and my issues got fully addressed. When I had my AC out, they even brought a portable unit so my dog would be comfy. The administrative team are also great. The concierge knows you by name, the office staff organize events like movie nights and game nights... The best way I can sum it up is that when you're there, you are not just getting a place to sleep, you're becoming part of a community...

Moved in two weeks ago, the neighborhood, apartment community and the unit is great. The leasing office and concierge are nice and helpful as well. However the wifi is unacceptably slow, the screen freezes time to time and won’t make it possible to work. It’s not reliable at all when we are required to pay $100 per month including the cable, I’ve previously had three times faster and better quality service with half price from Verizon before. This needs to be improved promptly, it makes no sense to pay $100 for this poor almost non-existent internet service.

Great location, the grounds are beautiful, staff is awesome, and the property is very well set up with different places to relax/entertain/play games. It's really nice living here and it was important to me how dog friendly the community is.
