Students generally appreciate the modern building design, cozy living spaces, and excellent amenities like the fitness center, game room, and rooftop, all situated in a fantastic location close to restaurants, shops, and parks. While the facilities are decent, some residents have experienced slow responses from management regarding maintenance issues and have raised concerns about safety protocols.

The house and my room looked really nice, and the bathroom and laundry facilities were in good condition. It was my first time staying with Outpost and overall it was a positive experience.

Been here a bit over 3 months and it's been ok. The location is amazing and the facilities are decent. I had a water leak in my bedroom (on my mattress and bedding too), and am still following up with them on the topic 6 weeks later to no response......

I lived at the Williamsburg House and always took great pride in showing it off to friends when they visited. It felt like a true luxury building, with unique design details that set it apart from any other apartment I'd seen. The amenities were amazing - a game room, laundry facilities, co-living spaces, and a rooftop. I also really enjoyed the neighborhood vibe. If I'd stayed in the city longer, I definitely would have extended my time there!

I spent two months here and absolutely loved it. The apartment had a cozy, homey feel, and the location couldn’t have been better—right in the heart of Williamsburg with tons of restaurants, shops, and parks nearby. The building was modern, and the amenities were top-notch, especially the fitness center. It was a great place to stay while I was in the city for work. Highly recommend this location!

Stayed there for 5 months, and while I liked the apartment itself and the rooftop, I was left feeling like the building did not care about the tenants’ safety. One night, after doing laundry, I returned to my hallway and it was filled with visible and smellable smoke. It was the smell of something plastic (not food). I called the building manager who was out of town, and who advised me to not call 911 while he investigated the issue remotely. I texted the group chat and realized others were smelling it too so I decided to call 911 anyway. Fortunately, they came and ascertained it was a wax incident and no one was hurt. However, it left me appalled about why the smoke detectors didn’t go off, and how I was advised to not call 911. That very well could have put us all in danger. When I emailed management, they claimed that it was overcooked bacon (I’m pretty sure I know what overcooked bacon smells like), in a tone that struck me as defensive. It also took 2 weeks before they were able to tell me where the fire extinguishers were located. So, while the building looks great (and I agree that Paul the super has been excellent), the management’s lackadaisical approach to safety gives me pause. But you can decide for yourself, at your own risk!
