Hearthstone

I'll start with the positives because there are some. Luis has consistently been professional, helpful, and one of the few people who makes residents feel like their concerns matter. The maintenance technicians themselves have also generally been courteous and capable whenever they actually arrive to perform work. The concierge team has similarly been friendly and welcoming, and they're often left trying to bridge the gap between residents and a management team that appears increasingly absent. Those frontline employees deserve credit because they are not the source of the building's problems. The delight that it is to interact with Chanel cannot be overstated. Unfortunately, good employees cannot compensate for poor management. The single biggest issue is responsiveness. There is a significant difference between being busy and simply failing to respond. Throughout my tenancy, management has repeatedly failed to communicate in a timely manner about issues affecting residents. Emails disappear into a void. Follow-ups are often required multiple times. Problems that should take days to resolve instead drag on for weeks or even longer. Most concerning is the handling of a habitability issue within my apartment. The gym is another example of where appearances matter more than actual management. On paper, the fitness centre is an attractive amenity. In practice, it is frequently let down by poor oversight and inconsistent maintenance. Equipment remains out of service for extended periods, minor repairs are not addressed promptly, and there seems to be little proactive inspection. On more than one occasion I have found myself performing basic maintenance or adjustments simply because no one else appeared willing to deal with the issue despite it having been reported. Residents should not be troubleshooting or maintaining fitness equipment in a building that charges a premium for its amenities. That's management's responsibility. The behaviour of some residents also significantly detracts from the experience, and management has done little to convince me that building rules are consistently enforced. The dog policy is one example. Pets regularly appear in amenity spaces where they are clearly prohibited. There have been instances of dogs relieving themselves in common areas, excessive barking, and owners refusing to comply with staff requests. Rules only work when they're enforced consistently, and too often it feels like management relies on reminder emails rather than meaningful action. The gym itself suffers from poor etiquette by a number of residents. Equipment is left covered in sweat, weights are abandoned instead of being re-racked, and some users behave as though they own the facility rather than sharing it with hundreds of neighbours. Again, this ultimately comes back to management creating and maintaining standards for communal spaces. Another recurring problem has been the smell of marijuana throughout the building. While people's views on cannabis vary, nobody paying luxury apartment prices expects common hallways and shared areas to smell like smoke on a regular basis. Whether through enforcement or better ventilation, this issue deserves more attention than it appears to receive. I genuinely wanted to enjoy living here, and there are aspects of the community that I do appreciate. The maintenance staff, concierge team, and individuals like Luis work hard and deserve recognition for their professionalism. It is unfortunate that their efforts are undermined by a management approach that too often feels reactive, inaccessible, and disconnected from residents' everyday experiences.

The Hearthstone is a great place to live. The staff are great. The amenties are great. Michelle one of the workers who works overnight does a great job with keeping the place clean and smelling good. She is such a kind hearted and a very respectful person. The concierge staff are great as well. They are very welcoming when you come home and very helpful. Also, Oscar the maintenance man is very helpful, when he comes to our unit to fix things he does a great job.

My fiance and I recently moved into the Hearthstone, and have been so HAPPY with our decision. First off, as other reviews have mentioned - Chanel truly was a wonderful guide through our leasing process, even going as far as helping us strategize where to put our furniture - and befriending our dog. The entire staff of the building is SO warm, welcoming, and lovely - they really go the extra mile. As for the building itself, the apartments are spacious, and beautiful (I love the deep bathtubs and lighted mirrors!). The gym is clean and spacious, with pelotons, and state of the art cardio machines - and a separate yoga room with a barre and mirrors! As someone who works from home, and is a homebody, I have been so happy with our decision to move here.

We have just recently moved into the Hearthstone and me and my husband could not be more thrilled. The building is so clean, eco friendly and every single team member who works here makes the living experience that much better. Chanel helped onboard us to the building which was incredible and everyone else from Luis, Oscar, Gustavo, David, Michelle, Selena, Mo, Wellington, Favio and Anthony have been nothing but truly warm and friendly and welcoming. Thank you for the Hearthstone team for everything!!

About a month ago, that I moved to this incredible Hearthstone building with my son. I am really in love with the quality of the area and especially the quality of the space, with their team that is not left behind because they are an excellence in service and kindness! This place is definitely what you have always dreamed of, everything is super spectacular and very cozy, from the front desk staff, maintenance and not to mention the administration staff that she is super friendly and very polite, without a doubt among all form an excellent team that makes this place incredible!!! The views are stunning! I invite you to dare to acquire one, it's worth everything in this place!
