Forten

I’ve been staying here the past month and great experience so far. The building is newly developed so everything is very well maintained. Building management is very friendly and responsive. What makes it unique here asides from being close to Columbia University, is how we are connected to The George Hotel next door. Residents like myself are allowed to enjoy the amenities on the hotel side, yet the hotel guests don’t have access to our side. They just installed a big screen TV in the courtyard where movies and sports are being played. I can’t wait for their swimming pool and jacuzzi to open up. It’s a very cozy and relaxing place to be in and I value my environment a lot. The trains are extremely close only about a block and a half away.

I had a wonderful experience working with Kai during my apartment search. He was incredibly responsive and professional, and took the time to walk us through everything we needed to know about the building. Even though we ultimately went in a different direction for financial reasons, Kai remained helpful and gracious throughout the entire process. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for an apartment in NYC.

My name is Veronica and I am a Harlemite! I go to church every Sunday, but unfortunately, my church lost our lease and we were looking for another place to have our services. On my way to The George Manhattan Tapestry Hotel in Harlem. I came upon Residential portion named The Forten. I was able to meet with a gentleman name, Kai Liang who was very professional, welcoming and kind. He was able to show me around both facilities during my recent visit. And wow, what a fantastic place it is! Although there was no conference room to hold a church service I was very impressed by the other rooms and outdoor locations within the complex. I will certainly keep these spaces in mind for any future events I may plan. However, good news our church has been approved to return to our previous meeting location, so we are all set. I will always be grateful for Mr. Liang‘s time and effort In our time and need. Your company is blessed to have you, as you represent them exceptionally well!

Just moved into this building and it already feels like home. The best part is that it’s only a short walk to Columbia University, which makes studying and commuting so convenient. The neighborhood is safe, with plenty of cafés and stores around, and having an in-unit washer and dryer is a real time-saver.
