Update: They signed for and then lost a very expensive package of mine. They’ve spent days “looking for it” with no success. After talking to multiple residents this has been happening frequently, to many people. Packages are getting mislabeled and/or disappearing. They also refused to confirm how they plan to compensate me for the lost items. Do NOT LIVE HERE. Update: This building continues to be unable to provide the amenities and standard of living that we pay for. See photos below: All emails regarding water disruption, broken elevators and a flooded lobby are within the last WEEK. See also a photo of only 3 out of the 5 treadmills currently working in the fitness center. Will continue to update as this building continues to fall short on a daily basis. Update: A second day in a row of elevator lines out the door! (Another photo from today below) With no update from management - Are we supposed to just accept this at the new normal? Is this our quality of living despite rent rates being “luxury?” I’ll say it again, steer clear! Just another regular day at 70 Greene with a line literally out the door to the street for elevators. This building is a joke. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Horrible building, poorly run. DO NOT LIVE HERE. Notice how the ONLY positive reviews are about the front desk staff - never the quality of living. Believe the awful reviews and stay far far away. Like a fellow resident said in another recent review; the price increases are massive, while the quality of living continues to decrease on a weekly basis. For the cost of rent in this building, there are MANY other luxury buildings available with larger floor plans, working amenities, nicer facilities and an overall better quality of living.

Danny came to fix our washing machine, and I had a great experience. He was professional, polite, and clearly knew what he was doing. He quickly identified the issue and fixed it efficiently. I really appreciated how respectful and easy to communicate he was throughout the process. Everything is working perfectly now. Thank you, Danny — I’d be happy to recommend him

I am writing after the second floods of our apartment under one month of moving in. First, our neighbor burnt down her apartment. Second, to put out the fire, they flooded ours, with many others. Third, they repaired water damaged walls for our unit and floors for other units. Fourth, they flooded our apartment again when demolishing our neighbor's unit. Whenever they flood a unit, the industrial dehumidifier is expected in your unit. I am very grateful for this experience. I grew into a more responsible adult through learning from the diligent staff working here. I practiced emotional stability under difficult circumstances. I was pushed to work hard deep cleaning my apartment three times in a row. And I am grateful that even if our assets were damaged, we are still here surrounded by people we care about.

This is a great place to live if you want to have long lines for malfunctioning elevators, massive floods every year that causes floors and walls to be ripped out, and and an AC system that’s on its last leg, causing frequent outages. This place is barely operating and Equity should be hanging its head in shame. We moved out after our apartment flooded twice in 2 years. They even charged us for repainting the apartment. STAY AWAY and SAVE YOURSELF the money and the stress of living in an unsafe building.
