Warren Wood Apartments

My experience at WarrenWood Apartments was extremely upsetting. During a maintenance visit, my pet bird went missing, and I felt that my concerns were not taken seriously afterward. I also felt frustrated with how the situation was handled overall and did not feel supported when trying to seek help. Because of this experience, I no longer felt comfortable living there. I encourage future tenants to carefully document maintenance visits and communications.

The staff are amazing, I feel very safe living here. The nieghbors look out for each other in am unspoken way. The maintenance is alway swift to response to repairs if needed. Lauren helped us when we were not sure about signing a new lease as my husband was looking for a job out of state. You are suppose to sign it before 60 days, she literally gave us up to a week before the new lease came into effect before signing it. Very class act. We are on our 3rd lease.

I loved touring the apartments. My kind and thoughtful guide did an amazing job making me feel at home right of the bat. The units are beautiful!

I am writing to formally address the maintenance issue reported today regarding the complete loss of hot water in my unit. When I contacted the office, I was informed that this situation does not qualify as an emergency and that repairs would be scheduled for tomorrow. When I explained that the absence of hot water prevents basic hygiene and significantly impacts daily living, I was again told it was not urgent, and the call was subsequently disconnected. The complete loss of hot water materially affects the habitability of the unit. While I understand that scheduling constraints may exist, the handling of this matter was unprofessional and the delay has caused inconvenience and disruption. Given the loss of essential services, I am requesting: 1. Immediate confirmation of when hot water service will be fully restored. 2. A written explanation of your emergency maintenance policy. 3. Appropriate financial compensation for the period during which the unit was without hot water

I’m disappointed that it is so expensive to live here. I’d expect more directly beneficial amenities. I’m also disappointed by the way the grounds are managed and the condition of the shared laundry at times. The efficiency is underwhelming. For the cost of my rent I would expect new appliances, in-unit laundry, quiet neighbors, and a space to keep my own garden. I just feel drained and would love a rent reduction or rebate or something to offset how much this apartment costs. It’s too much. Rent is too high.
