This property offers spacious, beautiful rooms and excellent amenities, with a unique blend of residential and hotel living that allows for a social atmosphere. However, it's worth noting that the building is increasingly used for private events, which can sometimes impact the availability of amenity spaces and lead to noise, so it might be helpful to inquire about event schedules and consider a unit away from the courtyard.

I had a very pleasant experience at this hotel overall. I stayed for more than 20 days, and I would especially like to thank the front desk team for being friendly, helpful, and professional throughout my stay. I would also like to give special thanks to Natasha, the manager. She took the time to speak with me personally, listened to my concerns, and was very understanding and professional. I really appreciated her willingness to help and make sure everything was taken care of. It was great to have someone who genuinely cared about the guest experience. Thank you, Natasha, and thank you to the entire hotel team for your hospitality. I truly appreciate it and wish you all the best!

Had family from Miami recently stay at the hotel. It is clean and absolutely modern and beautiful. The front desk staff were all wonderful to my guests. The prize is the restaurant in the building. The food combined with the jazzy atmosphere is a winning combination for anyone looking for a fresh exciting place. The pork chop is outstanding (you will thank me) and I highly recommend any of the appetizers - the tomato salad is a must try. Thanks so much to the staff for taking care of us during a very difficult time for my family especially the manager Jake. It is greatly appreciated.

Increasingly an event venue that happens to have residents in it. Three years here. The staff and the resident community are genuinely great. The issue is that this building is rapidly becoming an event space. The restaurant hosts private parties, weddings, and showers constantly; one recent Friday had three separate events in a single day. Amenity spaces get taken over: the library is regularly closed to residents, and it's now being converted into an event space with the second-floor conference room repurposed as a replacement. Parking fills with event guests. Music from the courtyard is audible inside apartments with the windows shut, well into the night. Management has made some moves: a music cutoff, gate arms for parking, but the core problem hasn't changed, and rent goes up regardless. If you're touring: ask directly how many private events are held per month, and don't take a unit facing the courtyard.

I've lived at The Vanderbilt for three years, and while there are aspects of the property I enjoy, prospective residents should know that the building often feels like an event venue first and a residential building second. Many of the amenities that attracted me to live here are frequently unavailable because they are rented out for private events to people who do not reside in the building which can be frustrating considering the premium rent residents pay. In addition, the elevators seem to be out of service far more often than I would expect in a luxury building, creating an ongoing inconvenience for residents. For the price of living here, I expected a quieter residential experience, reliable building maintenance, and consistent access to the amenities that are advertised. Instead, it often feels like the needs of events and the restaurant take priority over those of the people who actually live here. I wish ownership would take resident feedback seriously and works to better balance the needs of paying residents with those of outside guests and event attendees. Management has tried to advocate for the residents but their hands are tied as they do not own the building. I would like to add the staff at the Vanderbilt are incredible. From front desk to maintenance workers everyone is kind and helpful, it is the owners making the quality of life decline for their residents. I would never encourage other people to sign a lease. The restaurant hosts parties with blasting music despite the residents requests for that to change.

Its a difficult place to review because it isnt fully a hotel. There isnt a restaurant/bar during the day so no room service. No normal services like bellman. They have a starbucks coffee machine but wasnt working over the weekend but do have a machine in the room (no cream). The staff were very nice and extremely helpful when we needed them. Rooms are spacious and clean. Our room had a door inside connecting to the next room and they were loud one morning. better insulation or a double door would solve. The blackout curtains don't cover the entire windows so pretty light in the morning. The pool area is very, very nice with a bar and lifeguard during hours. While the rooms are spacious and the looks of the hotel is very elegant it's hard to get over the lack of normal services. I don't know if I would stay here again due to the room cost compared to my review.
