I have been living here for about three years and I must say this place has been amazing. Cynthia, Rene, Louis, etc., the entire staff has made this a pleasant experience for me they are genuine with all the work they do and very welcoming/comforting. I am happy here.

I would like to take a moment to recognize the amazing work of both the maintenance team and the office staff in our building. The maintenance team is always prompt, professional, and efficient. Every time I’ve had an issue, they responded quickly and fixed everything with care and attention to detail. It’s clear they take pride in their work, and it makes a big difference in daily living. The office staff is equally wonderful—friendly, respectful, and always willing to help. They handle concerns with professionalism and kindness, and communication is always clear and timely. It’s not easy to find a place where both maintenance and management work so well together and truly care about the residents. I feel grateful to live in a community where people go the extra mile to make residents feel comfortable and supported. Thank you all for your hard work and dedication!

When I joined this community a few years ago, I was promised a more relaxed vibe and in many ways it exist, but only for specific types of people. I'll list my personal pros and cons and you'll see what I mean: Pros: 1. Maintenance guys are excellent at their job and take care of things immediately, some of them even live on the property. 2. Surrounded by nature, quiet. 3. Affordable. 4. All neighbors I've encountered are very nice and welcoming. You won't find this in the city. Cons: 1. Thin wooden floors that pass noise. I personally don't really care about that, but just noting. 2. My biggest con - management indifference: Note that I am not talking about maintenance here, I'm talking about management. There's no one to talk to, and when you do, they usually just shrug you off with excuses. This place operates more like a military camp and tenants are "visitors". Yes, everything is efficient, clean, etc. But there's a complete and utter lack of "soul", it doesn't feel like "home". No personalization, barely any events in this "community", no regards to personal requests even if it costs them, and I'm not kidding, a few hundred dollars, just to make a large group of tenants more satisfied. I am not the only one. Multiple neighbors thus far have noticed this. Most just move on because they have no real power to change anything. You know how middle management always says "no" on the spot just because it's easier despite them not having the power to say "yes"? This is how it's like here. The reality is that I'm not surprised, rose associates is an oiled machine and it won't let some pesky tenants change its glorious and holy "policies" and "regulations" (god forbid someone uses common sense. All hail the regulations god!). I am not even blaming them, and I was a fool to think in a more suburban place like this it'd be otherwise. But some people get their confidence and self-esteem from imposing a blanket of rules, or people in management are simply lazy and don't want to go the extra mile. I get that, I guess. But, as again, this is half the picture.

My experience as a tenant at Summit Apartments has been amazing thanks to our Super Rene and Asst. Super Jose . Since becoming tenant they have always been very respectful and attentive, making sure that my unit is well maintained. When I submit a maintenance request, it is answered in a very timely manner and I am appreciative. I must say that they have made my transition to an apartment in Westchester a good one and I’m grateful we have Rene and Jose to maintain our property.

Lived here for six years. It is a beautiful community! Very affordable with free parking, heat. On site gym and laundry. Very peaceful and quiet. Dobbs Ferry riverfront is nearby and a very good park. Just walking around in the community is relaxing too. Very safe neighborhood. Not sure why other reviewers had any issues, but management was always very responsive with our requests and always helpful. Loved living here.
