Apartments have bed bugs, toxic black mold and slumlords that own it. Please for your health and sanity, pick another apartment complex to live in

I was a tenant for three years with no major complaints. ( other than hidden fees, with no resolution even when proof was provided and the main road into the complex which is Vermont view dr. Being used as a race track) The new owners definitely worked hard at upgrading property. Sadly, in reading reviews, the owners are being blamed for tenants who have zero respect for property. They have upgraded the laundry which was beautiful however, due to unruly tenants not giving a rats behind, machines are constantly down. They upgraded the pool, basketball and tennis courts. Maybe the pool area wasn’t in need of the upgrade but the courts definitely needed it and they all look and function amazing! I also see major complaints about maintenance….kind of makes me sad. In three years, I’ve called maintenance twice and both times they were there almost immediately and fixed the problems. They do send out notices when any major work is being done not only with email but with posting letters on every apartment door. They work hard to keep respectful tenants but they can’t be blamed for the sketchy visitors with less than appealing behavior. I would recommend this complex for sure.
