The Arden Apartments

I’ve lived here since December 2024 and I unfortunately have more negative things to say than positive. First of all the gate is WIDE OPEN majority of the time so anybody can drive in as they please. We pay a security fee for there to be no actual security. Next, the hallways always look so dirty, trash, paper/wrappers, pieces of food, chewed gum, dirt/debris, cigarettes, random liquids, etc. They tell us to put out trash out in the evening before or around 7 and bring it back in by 10 am. I have had my trash not be picked up until 1-2 am because I woke up to the sound of something dragging down the hallway or the screeching of wheels. There is an apartment 2 doors down from me that was continuously leaving several bags of trash outside their door which attracted bugs to our floor. I’ve been happy that I’ve never had an issue with bugs or roaches in my apartment… until this. I also put in a service request to have pest control come and come spray and it was marked as resolved but no one came. Wow. The staff that was here when I first moved here in 2024 were kind and made me not feel like a bother to call them or to come talk to them about something. The property manager seems to be nice although we’ve only ever communicated thru email. Not so sure about the others. I recently had to call the office about locating a package and the person who answered (I believe it was something like Kesha/Kendra?) had a very annoyed attitude that makes me not even want to call for anything ever again. I literally do everything I can to avoid having to talk to the staff because I don’t feel like it’s even worth my time. People drive AND park like idiots here. People absolutely fly through the parking lot, day and night, and people let their kids run into the street and play and I’m scared someone will get ran over. Not the mention the amount of stray cats (someone pls come save them!! 💔) and the tenants who let their dogs out from their patio to roam free. I’ve almost had my car hit from people zooming out into the middle of the road from around the corner. I’ve also had to climb into my car through my passenger door and my TRUNK because the person on my drivers side (or both sides!) parked too close to my car. I’ve seen other car’s parked to another car so close their side mirrors were touching. People are LOUD at night. The other night it was 12:30 and two trucks were obnoxiously revving and honking at each other for almost two minutes right outside my building. People play loud music late at night after midnight so loud you feel the wall vibrate from the bass, or run and stomp around it’s like you have a herd of elephants living above you. People walk or run down the hallways hooting and hollering or playing music or watching Tiktok’s at full volume in the middle of the night. If you’re scrolling thru reviews I’m sure you have seen the fire alarm situation. Thankfully it has gotten under control for the most part. Thank you to whoever took care of that. The only positives I can say are the units themselves are pretty nice. Have had no issues with my appliances, plumbing, etc. my whole time living here other than the AC one time. The beginning of my living experience here was nice but now I am beyond ready for my current lease to be over. The quality of living here has definitely gone down and I feel like I pay too much for it to be this bad.

Apartment Management Review I rarely leave reviews for companies, but my experience with the management at Arden Apartments and ZRS Management has been so disappointing that I feel compelled to share it. The lack of communication from the front office and management has been unacceptable. Unfortunately, this was an issue during my residency and, based on my experience since moving out, it has only gotten worse. I moved out on May 10 and, as of now, I still have not received my full security deposit refund. I have been given multiple conflicting timelines—first 30–60 days, then two weeks, and most recently, on August 21, I was told by management that my refund would be there by Friday. That date has come and gone, and I still have not received it. I have sent multiple emails, left voicemails, and made countless phone calls, only to have my calls go unanswered and my messages unreturned. At this point, I am simply asking for the truth and some basic communication regarding the status of my money. I was a resident who never missed or paid rent late, paid an $800 pet deposit, and fulfilled my responsibilities as a resident. After everything I did right, I should not have to repeatedly chase management for a refund that is owed to me. As a veteran who served this country for 12 years, I understand the importance of accountability, honesty, and keeping your word. Unfortunately, that has not been my experience here. It is incredibly frustrating and disheartening that this situation has gone this far. I am now considering contacting a lawyer simply to get a clear answer and resolution. If you value honest communication, responsiveness, and being treated with respect, I would strongly encourage you to do your research before choosing to live here. My experience with the front office and management has been extremely disappointing.

Don't live in this place, and if you're a migrant, definitely don't live there because you'll regret it; it will be the worst experience.
