Many residents appreciate the friendly and helpful staff, especially the leasing team, and find the community grounds, amenities, and apartment interiors to be beautiful and well-designed, offering a comfortable living experience with convenient access to local shops and entertainment. However, a recurring concern among several residents is the unreliable internet service, which is often mandatory and frequently experiences outages, proving particularly challenging for those who work remotely. Additionally, some residents have noted issues with inconsistent community upkeep, such as trash accumulation and pet waste, as well as occasional noise disturbances and concerns about parking.

I have lived in this community since the beginning, and unfortunately have seen a steep decline in quality. One of the most frustrating recent issues has been a persistent beeping from the fire panel in Building 2 that has continued for more than two weeks, including throughout the night. It has repeatedly disturbed our sleep and woken us up. When you can't consistently sleep comfortably in your own home, it stops being a minor inconvenience and makes me wonder what exactly we are paying for. Updates on this issue have been minimal at best and are typical "we apologize for the inconvenience" affairs. The trash situation has also become unacceptable. Trash is regularly piled outside of the compactor, sometimes to the point that the ramp is completely blocked. Beyond the accessibility issues, it is embarrassing to have residents and visitors regularly greeted by a mountain of garbage. Management has put up signs and sent reminders, but the problem continues. There are similar issues with community rules in general. The smell of marijuana has become increasingly common, cars continue to park along curbs and streets despite repeated warnings, and emails reminding residents of the rules don't seem to result in meaningful enforcement or improvement. This is all to say nothing of the internet issues that have become an almost regular event. With the offered WiFi (WhiteSky) feeling like it is down more than it is up. I understand that management cannot control every resident, vendor, or outside service provider. However, residents ultimately pay to live in the community as a whole, and repeated emails, warning signs, and apologies only go so far when the same problems continue. After being here since the beginning, it is disappointing to say that the decline has been significant enough that we no longer feel this is a community worth the price. And based on the other reviews, I am not alone in that.

Our apartment uses WhiteSky Internet, which has a very poor reputation for frequent outages and slow customer service. WhiteSky has a 1.4/5 rating on Trustpilot, with 96% of its 48 reviews giving it only one star. Unfortunately, we have already experienced multiple internet outages since moving here. The internet has even gone down on weekends, leaving us with no choice but to leave the apartment and go somewhere else just to get a reliable internet connection. It is extremely frustrating to live in an apartment where residents are required to use an internet provider with such a poor reputation. Reliable internet should be a basic service, but unfortunately, that has not been our experience here.

The internet goes out at least once a month and all they do is send out an email saying they’re sorry and can’t do anything about it.

Like others I am seeing, I am updating my initial rating. I've been here since January 2025. Things were GREAT initially. The community had nice WORKING amenities, reliable internet, staff seemed nice, blah, blah, blah. As of today 9/8 I truly feel NO one should move here. It's advertised as family and pet friendly. Parents, the kids have NO place to play. Pet owners....this place is outright disgusting with all the urine, feces in hallways, on stairs, elevators, walkways etc. Neighbor noise complaints go ignored but they want you to call a courtesy officer, so they don't have to deal with it. The INTERNET issue? I work solely remotely LIVE ON CAMERA and depend on a solid internet connection and the past few months that has NOT been something I can count on so now Aventon Gwynn is COSTING me money! I can't work, so I don't get income....but that little $25 credit on my monthly charge is gonna help! (Sarcasm)! Y'all, don't move here. All of us complaining can't ALL be untruthful.

Giving one star solely because of the CONSTANT monthly WiFi issues. They make you pay $75 for the BS WiFi called white sky that has issues constantly. We’ve even went over 5 days without WiFi once with only a $25 credit off for three months, which is UNACCEPTABLE ! I can’t wait to break my lease because I refuse to stay here until my lease is up. Such an inconvenience and they won’t do anything about it. Bottom line is they need to let us use our own WiFi or find more reliable WiFi. I never had this problem with xfinity at my old apartment.
