Amberidge Apartments

My cousin rents a space here. Her AC has been out and she cant even get in touch with maintenance. The county issued a severe heat warning but they havent even tried to remedy the problem. Its 94 degrees outside and i just came from her apartment installing a portable AC that she purchased ($300). She suffers from LUPUS and tends to have seizures when she gets too hot. She literally could lay down and have a seizure from extreme heat due to laziness of the complex, The thermostat says 76 now but it was 82 when i got here. Her vents are blowing out hot air. Its like no coolant is in their AC units. You only can reach them via an A.i. phone line. So if you dont say the right words you will not get a person. I still have yet to talk to a person when i called. She mentioned someone called her back. They only process work orders in 48 hour window. However, shes been in the heat for over a week. If i hadn't came by i dont know what would have happen. Extreme heat is life threating to some people. My cousin might be accommodating to the horrible service but I am not. I will be sending this story to the news if this isnt fixed by July 8th, today is July 7th. Update July 18th They still havent fixed her problem. She has called and cried to me numerous times about her mistreatment and i will be reporting them.

I have lived here almost 3 years now. I love it just as much now as I did when I moved in. The community is amazing! We get together and hang out with our neighbors every now and then. Everyone is welcoming. The apartments are clean and the landlord is in the process of renovating. The maintenance guys are really nice. I can honestly say I've never lived anywhere with as much love as this place has. It is like we are all one big family. I love it here!
