I would like to take a moment to recognize Grace, Onna, Morgan D., and Morgan W., and Rolando and Mario for the outstanding professionalism, compassion, and support they showed me during an unexpected and very stressful situation. My apartment unit unfortunately experienced significant flooding due to a water leak from the apartment above mine. Being displaced from my home, even temporarily, was not an easy experience. However, Grace handled the situation swiftly, professionally, and with genuine concern for my well-being. One of the things I appreciated most was Grace’s communication throughout the entire process. She made sure I was informed every step of the way and kept me updated as things progressed. During a situation where there was a lot of uncertainty, having someone communicate clearly and consistently made a tremendous difference. Although I was out of my apartment for a couple of days, Grace went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. She arranged for me to have a guest suite at another location during the transition, which showed me that she genuinely cared about making sure I had a safe and comfortable place to stay while the situation was being resolved. Despite the complications involving the water leak and the apartment above mine, Grace made the transition into a new unit as smooth as possible. She was able to move me into a new apartment without hesitation, unnecessary complications, or additional paperwork. She made the process much easier than I expected, especially considering the circumstances. I truly want to give a special shout-out to Grace, Onna, Morgan D., Morgan W., Rolando, and Mario. for taking the time to assist me and for making sure my needs were addressed throughout this entire experience. Their professionalism, responsiveness, communication, and willingness to go the extra mile did not go unnoticed. Situations like this can easily become overwhelming, but having a team that genuinely cares and is willing to step up makes all the difference. I am extremely grateful for the way they handled everything and for the level of service and support they provided. Thank you, Grace, Onna, Morgan D., Morgan W. Rolando, and Mario, for going above and beyond and making sure I was taken care of. Your efforts are truly appreciated!

I am livid I have to put in a service request for pest control every week and I only been living here for 3 weeks they have a major ant problem it’s uncomfortable! Imagine going to work and ants crawling out your stuff or your kids in school and ants is crawling out there personal belongings ! It’s so inhabitable the pest control treatment is not working ! And I’m tired of ants crawling on me while I’m trying to relax in my home ! It’s DISTURBING!

I really enjoyed my time here! The area is quiet and safe. The neighbors are friendly but everyone stays to themselves. And it’s centrally located so not only do you have access to plenty of restaurants, shopping, etc. but you also have a short travel to other parts of the city. The best part of staying here is Grace. She’s incredible! Anytime I needed something she was always there! I wanted to give it 4 stars because I did have a lot of maintenance issues, but Grace and her immediate attention to resolving issues warrants a fifth star! I do have to caution anyone staying at any Cortland residence. There’s always hidden fees. Your rent will always be higher than what’s quoted, and you will not get your full deposit back. Although I didn’t experience this at the Cortland community in Texas, I experienced this at both of the locations in Georgia. And because of this, I will likely never stay at a Cortland community again.

As a masochist myself, I want to share just how much I appreciate the visitor parking here. Its truly set up in the most efficient way to create pain i can imagine. First, if you don't park in visitor parking, expect a ticket (this is clearly explained in the small and hard to read sign at the gate). You make think thats normal, but they combine it with very few spaces, so good luck finding one. That may sound normally frustrating, so they go a step above by making the spots POORLY MARKED! its great, because you won't be sure if its a faded spot or not, giving maximum ticket probability. So now you cant park and need to strain to see the spots, or you get a ticket, so you may think the best strategy is to park somewhere else and walk. Oh my naive friend, the place nearby is retail only, so forget that. And now you are out of the gate, so you need to dial in again! Truly inspired in their creation of the visitor parking, other sadists need to be taking notes.

A high percentage of the apartments here have some degree of bug problems ( roaches and ants). The W/D are quite old. The leasing office is understaffed and quite disorganized.
