The Patrician at Bonaire

Ms. Margaret is amazing, patient and kind. During the tour she was very detailed, and patient with answering all my concerns. It was a pleasure working with her to get my new home.

I lived here for several years, and while there were some positives, there were also several ongoing issues that future residents should be aware of. The office staff was generally professional, and maintenance requests were often addressed quickly. However, there was really only one maintenance technician(the " maintenance supervisor") who consistently seemed able to handle more complex repairs. When he was unavailable, repairs often felt like they came to a standstill. One of my biggest complaints was the lack of soundproofing. You can hear a surprising amount of noise from neighboring apartments(flushing toilets, foot steps), which made it difficult to enjoy peace and quiet at times. Another recurring issue as you will see from photos was the air conditioning. During the summer months, the HVAC system would leak, and while maintenance would respond, it often felt like the same temporary fix was being made instead of a long-term solution. The community also has a significant number of rules and restrictions. Residents frequently receive emails reminding them of what they cannot do, and even something as simple as having a grill on your own patio was not permitted. Finally, my move-out process left me with unanswered questions. My original lease reflected a different security deposit amount than the amount shown on my move-out accounting. The discrepancy between the lease and the accounting records was never clearly explained, which created unnecessary confusion. Overall, my experience was below average. Although there were some positive aspects, the recurring issues throughout my tenancy ultimately outweighed them. Based on my experience, I would recommend considering other apartment communities before choosing this one.

The property manager Margaret is phenomenal! I was having the most difficult time getting into an apartment when I first moved down here. She listened to my problems and was able to find me a solution to fit my needs in a timely manner. Since I moved into the property, the tenants are amazing! And Margaret is always kind and inviting and every time I see her she always checks in on me. I wish I could give 10 stars!

I can’t say enough good things about the apartment manager! She was incredibly helpful throughout the entire process of helping my mom get her apartment. From the very beginning, she was friendly, professional, and genuinely cared about making sure everything went smoothly. One thing that really stands out is how well she maintains the property. The community is always clean, organized, and welcoming, which shows how dedicated she is to her job. She stays on top of everything and takes pride in making sure residents have a positive experience. It’s rare to find someone who is both professional and truly kind-hearted, but she is exactly that. My mom is so happy with her new apartment, and we’re grateful for all of her help. I highly recommend her and this community to anyone looking for a place to call home!
